Thought i would post a few links to the latest press just in case anyone has missed them, seems the swans are being tagged as a "stylish, evolving football power "in the Gaurdian , very nice read i have to say.

The Daily Mail has a story about us being a team of "little masters" which has an interview with little leon and writes about the parallels with Arsenals style .

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-little-masters-look-right-home-big-guns.html

One of the favourite reads of the last few days was in the Sun which listed Cardiff as the most Miserable city in the UK <laugh> of course, we all know thats a direct result of Swansea gaining promotion which is understandable :)
25% of the city population is miserable, i would have thought it was more but of course most cardiff fans dont actually come from Cardiff so i guess the figures are about right <laugh>

Something for you all to enjoy with your cornflakes/tea and toast this morning :)

Yes , theres been some great write ups about the club recently, since gaining entry into the Premeirship the press have been more than kind to us .We're cetainly making the news for all the right reasons.
I thought that percentage figure quoted appeared to be quite low , if going by the amount of cardiff fans i know is I would say that figure should be higher.

<laugh> As some like to use the city thing as reference to how big and better they are its quite poetic to find that they are all miserable as fook there !!

The English press definatly have a love in with the swans(not so much BBC wales,ITV wales and cardiff centred newspapers) i honestly think this kind of media exposure can help us on the pitch, the refs have been alot kinder to us in this division compared to the NPC, where i think there is a tendency to favour the more historic floundering "big" clubs.

The message is always that the swans are trying to play the game the right way, this sticks with refs i beleive and may just give us the benifit of the doubt when it matters ,ash at Everton is a classic example so is our standing in the fairplay leaugue :)

We've had our hard and dark times for sure, now is the time to enjoy everything that these present times are giving us .This season has given the club the perfect way of presenting ourselves to the rest of the footballing world and long may it continue

love this ....Britton – a fish out of water at Kevin Blackwell's concussive Sheffield United – to play to his technical strengths, transforming him in the process into a kind of Mumbles Xavi.

Read the Guardian article this morning, really excellent article, the bit I liked was "British football may really have something to learn from the rising power in South Wales", I also liked this bit too, "Leon Britton currently tops the table for Premier League passing accuracy with a 93.8% hit rate", and this, "Rodgers has encouraged the pint-sized Britton to play to his technical strengths, transforming him in the process into a kind of Mumbles Xavi", and this " As a team they are second behind only Manchester City in terms of completed passes this season" or how I could go on, well done to the Guardian, for writing such an honest and truthful article on the Mighty Swans!.................
