Which one is Ken and simon. The players club or the agent. http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....eds_united_grayson_eyes_new_striker_1_3667581 I just can't believe anything the club is saying anymore BATES OUT
Really p1ssed off with all the mixed messages coming from Grayson. Last week he was ok with his squad and we didn't need a striker. Stevie Wonder can see we need a striker up top with Ross, and now he's changed his mind again. Bates is almost making it impossible to get any new players, because all he does is gob off about them in the media. This is the bloke who does his business behind closed doors, but not this season, because he knows he's in for a fans backlash. Our club is becoming a fooking joke with this senile old get, and his apprentice
I'm really worried if we gat a poor start to season we could face a relegation battle. This teams record for second half of past two seasons has been deplorable so wouldn't fill you with confidence if it comes down to that
Quite simple, the other club refused the agents demands to pay him off so they said he wasnt going anywhere. Yes the other club pulled out, as SG said, and this was caused by the demands put on them by the players agent.
Phil SG never said anything about been caused by the players agent, he said the other club pulled out. Bates said we told the agent to get stuffed Thats two different stories
and both interlink and are both correct. Bates has just told us why the other club pulled out, SG simply didnt go into that detail.
Was it not something about the players agent demanding a fee or something and Bates saying if you want to play bring you boots tomorrow Then you hear the London riots stopped a transfer
Phil There are too many mixed messages. Bates comments indicate we pulled out of the deal (YEP didnt print his excact words, he called the agent poxy), grayson indicates its the other club. Or am I reading that differently
but we were only interested in signing him if he could play on Tuesday night and if he didn`t turn up on Tuesday with his boots he can forget it. Because of the agent`s greed the player did not come. We are not prepared to be blackmailed by some 'poxy` agent." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ phil that to me is Ken Bates saying we pulled out.
Morning gentlemen.. All this mixed messages from the club..I.E..Bates/SG..the real lack of quality coming in,Coupled with the worry of only having just 1 striker..Is even getting to old Badger now. Can really understand why so many have had enough of the web of lie's Bates feeds us all the time.. The bloke needs to remember with out the supporter's spending all their hard got money there would be no club. As for the new striker,If he wants quality he is going to have to spend some real money..Not some one who is a part of the other clubs plans..I.E...reject.. But i wont hold me breath on that one.... Rant over (dont happen very offten)... On a lighter note LIW you attending the pre match meet-up..???
wouldnt say we pulled out, the player didnt turn up for the match as it was left with him and his agent to get the situation sorted with his club and be ready for Tues. This didnt happen so we move on and look for someone else, out of our hands really.
I agree with phil that LUFC did not pull out and the agent is probably the reason for this falling through but makes you wonder if by issuing this statement, Grayson is giving a subtle hint that he and Bates are not seeing eye-to-eye at the moment. Up to now, they have been saying the same thing and for the first time we have some room for different interpretation.
Maybe Grayson has received some worrying news on Becchio and he is going to be out longer than expected. Who the **** does Bates think he is? So looks like he chose to forget it and so would I with ultimatums like that
SG will know how much info he is allowed to readily divulge to the public. If the chairman, and owner, wants to divulge the rest then that is up to him.
It's totally unprofessional and Bates' macho facade with players and agents who he seems to consider obstacles in the way of his footballing dream is actually going to cost us very dear this season if it continues.
