By far and away the best of our podcasters, some of the gallows humour in the pods after defeats actually makes me feel ten times better about the results, suppose if you can’t laugh at yourselves what can you laugh at?

He's a nice fella is Graham, but can be a bit cringe at times, he doesn't exactly have the most charisma either, all that said I appreciate his work ethic in churning these out consistently. He has my respect for that.

To give him the benefit of the doubt I had a listen.

TBH it sounds like he has a bit of a KLD/KS grudge going on.

"When you have an owner who believes his way is the only way ...... "

Seriously when is that ever not the case and what evidence does he have to back it up even if it was the case?

    So do I, so what?

Or am I not supposed to give mine, I thought that was the whole point of a chat forum.

Honest opinions with a bit of self deprecating humour. Comfortably the best pod out there.

Roker Rapport won't say a bad word about the club.
WMS won't say a good word about the club, particularly Speakman whom the host has a raging hard on for.

WTF is slap bang in the middle and I enjoy the shows. He has passion for the club without a set agenda. That's what makes it the best one out there.

The Sensible Sunderland lads are decent too, albeit there's a bit of a "Speakman picks the team..." narrative to them in terms of the opinions they offer

Some people are renowned for accusing me of that when it doesn't actually happen ...

... in reality it's just that they lose an argument and get all bitchy about it.

Then when I respond in kind they can't take what they've been dishing out.

I have debates with most people on here, there's only a few that can't handle it and have hissy fits.

The vast majority are fine tbh.

Ironically you're one of the worst for snapping at people with a differing opinion.

Graham is a top bloke. I have met him on a number of occasions indeed when he was a bit younger I gave him a lot of my SAFC memorabilia as I have no one to pass it on too, my daughter wouldnt appreciate it and my Mrs would probably burn it.

Like us all we are very passionate about SAFC and we all have different ways of showing it

He is a level headed bloke and not up his own arse like some

I agree, he may seem a bit dour at times, but his heart is in the right place

I enjoy his efforts, they are more level headed than some

    Up the Falk!!

For years if newspaper and Sky reporters wanted an easy life they wrote endless tracts on how hard done by Newcastle fans are, how great Newcastle fans are and how great their club is.

None of this is particularly true, but it's the fastest route to a pay cheque. With the introduction of oil money and rich Tories this won't change.

This has meant Sunderland fans have had to adapt. While Newcastle fanzines read like they were written by angry 12-year-olds, we have a wide range of home grown media to choose from.

I agree the biggest ones have tried to find their own niche. Roker Report is very pro-club and WMS take the 'real fans' angle of being negative to the point of conspiracy theory.

What The Falk is a lot smaller and to me the best of them. Graham is a professional journalist for The Scotsman (amongst others) and it shows. He's not as dramatic as other podcasts but he's certainly the most balanced.

Me too Wayne, that and the Roker Rapport are the two best IMO.

I remember the time when he put across some really tougher questions to Donald & Salmon Pants, loved it....
