What TF says: Hughes is the best thing that has happened to QPR.

What TF means: I can't afford 15 million to sack Hughes from his four year contract along with all his cronies.

My only hope is he resigns because we cant afford to sack him. We need some anti Hughes songs going for the Everton game. Im sure his backroom team would leave of their own accord if Hughes left.

If thats the case, your chairman needs to understand if Hughes remains manager and you're relegated, then can he afford to run the club in the championship, with players on premier league wages and a loss in income from no premier league football?

If he sacks Hughes and hires Redknapp, in the short term he will need to accept a huge loss, yet come next may, he will be better off - the club will have survived, and you can look forward to another season of premier league football with a manager that will bring some pride back to west london.

Lakshmi Mittal in the news today:

"Bitter jokes and anger are directed at the Indian-born, British-based Lakshmi Mittal, owner of the world's largest steelmaking company. "That man is a predator," said Edouard Martin, head of the CFDT union at Florange where he has worked for 32 years. "He's not an industrialist, he's a financier."

Absolutely disgraceful comment to make. How on earth is that going to help matters. By all means vent your frustration at him on here but we dont need that rubbish. Let TF decide if and when to sack him. The players need our support.

You don't become an exceedingly rich and powerful man without ****ting on other people, Imaz. I've yet to encounter a millionaire (I've not knowingly met a billionaire) who didn't chop people down when it suited them.

To be fair to Flyer, Judo, I can't see where he suggested the fans don't support the players. Of course, Hughes' fate rests with TF and his team, but that doesn't mean that the fans cannot have their say from the stands. Cries of "[the manager] out!" have always been heard at stadia across the land since the game took off. It has always been thus and seems to me to be a legitimate form of protest. What would you suggest as an alternative?

Chanting songs like that is not supporting the team, it is creating bad feeling in the stadium and even if it is not against the players it most certainly doesnt help matters. The fans got us over the line last season and helped the team - songs like that wont. I have only ever chanted those songs once - when Paul Hart was in charge.

and sit back silently and watch that prick relegate us? I want whats best for QPR and that is Hughes out.

Id take an 0-6 result against Everton if it meant a new manager, we would get more points than if we were happy clappy and support Hughes as he ran us into the ground.

If it was OK then, why not now? Like I said, it's a legitimate protest. If the fans want the manager out (and it is an 'if' right now because I have no idea whether the majority want this or not) then what other means of protest sit more favourably with you?

Uber, I have no idea what other means of protest is better. No protest is ever positive.

And I havent said we should never protest like that, just that it is far far too early to start things like that. Far too early.

I know all who post on here are genuine QPR fans who want the best for the club, I have no doubt about that at all. But lets support the team on the pitch and not start negative songs - yet. If in november we are still in the same scenario then I will have to agree with the majority at the moment.

Are you guys gonna support our team or make things worse? There's nothing more soul-destroying than bad feeling from the crowd, grow up...

Keeping Hughes will see us relegated, you might be quite happy for that but Im not. The whole point is to try and get him to leave so we can win a few games but youd rather us struggle to beat Derbys worst ever PL points total?

Hes already killed the atmosphere in the crowd with the performances so far so we can either play and lose all games with a silent crowd or get rid of him and get behind a new man.

Yes, let's go down the same route as Blackburn last season.

How about a few death threats Flyer? That happened at Blackburn too. Would that be enough for you?

OK, fair enough, Judo. So Flyer's suggestion wasn't so much an "absolutely disgraceful comment", but perhaps a tad premature in your opinion.

No one will be happy to see QPR relegated on here I am certain. TF will make the decision if and when it is needed. He is not Flavio who was hated by fans - TF has shown he has the qpr bug and he will make tough decisions when the time is right.

We survived last season sacking Warnock in January, so if we left it until november we can do it again if necessary, with more time to do it in.
