A defeat to the dreadfull Wigan will surely amount to the 'apocalyptic' situation that Quinn alluded to in relation to Bruce's position as manager, so what team does Brucey pick to stave off the end of days? I have a horrible feeling that he'll go negative and only make the one change (Seb in for Elmo) I thought Sess looked much more effective on the left so he would start out wide with Larsson coming back in on the right in a orthodox 4-4-2 It won't happen but id drop Oshea and have bardsley and Rico at fullback. Up front id tell Noble and Ji to fight it out in training to see who partners Bendtner. So my team would be ...................westwood.......... Bardo...brown...turner.....Rico larsson....catts...vaughan...sess.. ...........Bendtner...ji/noble..........
Is O'Shea out? If so, I would say there's a 90% chance that he will go: .............westwood ....bardley brown turner richardson elmohamady cattermole colback larsson ............sessegnon .............bendtner
And that team sheet would be the shortest suicide note in football history. Not that I want him to survive but the club needs are bigger right now and this team will beat Wigan hands down imo. What he's tried so far has failed. Time for a change and gardener and vaughan were brought here to improve us. They have to be given their chance as does young noble. Inexperienced or not, we need a goalscorer and he is all we have got. Westwood O Shea, Brown, Turner, Bardsley Larsson, Gardener, Vaughan, Sessegnon Noble, Bendtner Keeper, elmo, Richardson, cattermole, Colback, Meyler, Ji.
I have said previously that the only change would be Larson for Elmo and I still think that will be the case. (thank **** Tony Cotee isn't our manager) Everyone within the club seems to be ****ing themselves stupid for getting a point from the mighty Fulham so they obviously think everything is hunky dorey and the team is playing well, so why change it.
Francis Ford Coppola couldn't write the script to this one.. I'm sending Cest in..in replacement of Captain Willard (martin sheen) to get rid of the insane Col. Kurtz (looney bruce) A one man team, on the proviso that he doesn't bring in MoN as his sidekick.
I actually really like Richardson as a player though, but not sure how to fit him into midfield, shame none of your wingers can really play int he centre.

Still think Bruce could only muster a draw with that team, then whinge that they didn't have time to gel
What remains out of that team would either have zimmer frames, or wouldn't be arsed to turn up for the appearance fee..apart from skp, snq ans bally.. Now Wigan are ****e, but them three against the bottom club, i can only see a draw.
On the basis that Meyler is not fully fit yet in terms of a starting place, I would go exactly with this team for Saturday.
