I stick by my original thoughts, Spurs are the surprise package this season.

Southampton have strengthened significantly this season, so them doing well won't be a surprise. Personally, I can see Villa developing on their trainwreck of last season, they've got a young side that's developed into a solid unit, Benteke has a lovely new contract, and Bent isn't around.

I can see them pulling a Newcastle, and getting into the top 8 or so. Or maybe I just love a wildcard.

    can u imagine!

I'm not gonna get carried away, as I do worry about how many changes we're making, but we're going to have a hell of side.

Swansea to finish 4th? <laugh>, they lack the balls, which incidentally is where United had them the other night - when they just rolled over for a Moyesy rape.

    Southampton to finish above them

Southampton for a top 8 finish.

Huge fan of Rickie Lambert, with the likes of Clyne, Shaw, Ward-Prowse all looking to have great futures plus their impressive additions of Lovren, Wanyama and Osvaldo alongside the likes of Ramirez and Lallana, I think they've assembled a very good squad.
