As in English, Taff, Scotch, N Orish and Other counties as well Is it out of the below Liverpool ££££ Routemaster FC French Cockenys UTD the answer is..... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ayers-Arsenal-Chelsea-Liverpool-Man-City.html UTD
You have to consider the importance of the home grown players in the squad too... United's first XI will probably include Jones/Evans, Carrick and Rooney out of all your homegrown players when everyone is fit. Liverpool's first XI will include Gerrard, Henderson, Sturridge, Allen, Lallana + Sterling and Flanagan who are too young to count yet. That's over half the team. Arsenal's first XI would see Gibbs, Wilshere, Ramsey, Walcott + maybe OX in. What's important isn't carrying the likes of Lambert, Cleverley and so on in the squad... it's which top clubs are giving their homegrown players week in week out experience at the top level, playing good football (not Roy football). This is where City and Chelsea fail so badly.
Since when were Jesse Lingaard,Davide Petrucci,Marnick Vermijl and Rafael Da Silva, British ? Jinxed thread
I've only had a quick glance at the list of players in that article and I can already see the journalist put their heart and soul into the research "Liverpool (9) - Joe Allen, Fabio Borini, Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Glen Johnson, Brad Jones, Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Daniel Sturridge." Where is Flanagan, Suso and Sterling...? That equals the 12 Man utd have listed without mentioning the unknown youth players like the journalist as for you guys
Who seriously gives a ****? Have you seen English players? For the most part they are ****..... The England football team is testament to that. So I see my team having less English players as a big plus
I didn't look beyond the Liverpool and Man Utd teams but now you've mentioned it, yet it just highlights how **** a job the obviously manc journalist as done
I've just had a bit more of a look. The numbers are taken from the actual submitted squads for the PL. As Cym just pointed out, under 21s don't have to be registered. So Liverpool have registered nine but omitted Flanno, Sterling and and Suso because they don't need to be registered to play. Man Utd decided to register their youngsters anyway hence them having twelve. Nice well, well done
