We relly need to beat Man City to get some confidence back in the team for our run in and too stop us to getting dragged down into the bootom half; so how do we line up.

Man City will probably go 4-3-3 meaning if we went for 4-4-2 we will find ourself outnumbered in midfield and therefore a lot less of the ball, or we could go for 4-5-1, but steed in to fight for the ball and too show composure (unfortunately not creativity) which is personally what i would go for.

The longer we go at a draw, the more chance we have of winning the game, i know stats like Man City have scored the least amount of goals and have conceeded the most amound of goal in the last 15 mins in premier league games out of everyone however it does fill you with hope of an upset and i am sure Bruce will know this too.

I am looking foward to the game and i am hoping we are not below Newcastle by Sunday but i have a bad feeling we might be (which is good because when i back the mags they lose).

Its ashame we havent sold our allocation but im sure our fans will still do us proad who are going down, Haway the lads.

I am not expecting much to be honest after the last 5 games. But I did not expect to win at Chelsea either . I think the lads need to show the fans something and a decent result is overdue.

To be honest i would definately take a draw there. we aint exactly got the best of records at their place.

Regarding the mags. last time they went above us we went on our best run of the season. I will gladly take another week of wumming for the same outcome.

Draw at best, FFS I was really expecting us to stuff Liverpool.

Lets go out and play flowing attacking football again, we have the players to do it now, SO DO IT!

All the pundits will have City down as winners. Nothing to lose by attacking them their defence is ****e.

I say we just go for their throats, we clearly can't ****ing defend, so lets try and get goals.

    Of this we are capable.

In my loudest Mackem, RARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! LETS EAT THEIR BASTARD EYEBALLS.

    Excuse me.

We have NOTHING to lose with this one -go for broke Bruce and lets see an attacking side fielded to win please.

There was a time -just 2 seasons ago when we'd park the bus in the vein hope of a 0-0 draw and Ricky would say "we cannot beat them in open play" and it would be a mistake to try - these days we need fear no one.

i agree, we need to get at their defence as attacking will be the best form of defence in this case. If we dont score 2 goals, were not going to get anything out of the game

I'd be very happy for a draw, but we need to attack, and have no fear, like the Chelsea match. It is an important game, and if we can pull it off, it would be brilliant.

Gyan tortured Lescott the other day. I'm confident that if our midfield performs and provides him the service he craves then we could well cause an upset. Not holding too much hope but as long as we line up with 11 players them we have at least half a chance in any game.

An all or nothing, gung ho approach, old fashioned rough em up style of play would do me, scare the **** out of them jonny forigners, frighten them senseless, we got nowt to lose. and everything to gain.
