What sports should we target next?

    The payback for funding specific sports has been a fantastic haul of medals at the London Olympics. During the steeple chase the commentators said that UK Athletics were considering encouraging middle distance runners to take up the event and it got me thinking about where to invest funds in time for the next Olypics in Rio.

    Rowing and cycling have benefited from huge levels of investment with Lottery money and sponsorship cash being chucked around the sports like confetti.

    Are there other sports we could excel at?

    Suggestions don't have to be actual sports if you can't be arsed thinking of one. Gold medal in tiddlywinks perhaps?

    Bring back the tug of war I say, Not 606 could have a team of champions!

    London ABA have secured incredible funding for the next few years. Watch the 2018 English empire games boxing team come predominantly from London and the 2020 olympic boxing team be hugely based around London boxers.
