1. Recall Hill, Derry, Mackie (Young?) to starting 11. 2. Motivate Anton and Cisse to playing the way they played last year. 3. Get DJ Campbell back from his loan spell.
Yeah, but watch now how Bosingwa's game is going to turn around with 'Arry in charge. I've got a good feeling that his game will step back up to the way it was last year with Scum.
Get rid of the wasters and change the formation to 4231. Buy a couple of CFs and a couple of CBs in January.
You will be surprised how a change can improve players. He can come in and 'wipe the slate' and tell players that they are better than bottom of the league? He can play them in the right positions and encourage them. Something MH should have done but for some reason didn't.
Absolutely. I am looking forward to Saturday, all the players are going to give 100%: 'Arry will be watching. I just think that after the stick Bosingwa got when he went off, he is unlikely to be that bothered, or be given the chance.
Play them in the right position, encourage and motivate them, oh and also teach them how to actually defend and attack set pieces. No more of this 4 men marking the front post bullshit
Exactly this, fresh start for all and as fans we should treat it like that as well. Who knows what instructions players were under. SWP may have been told not to cross or shoot!!! So let's see how they do. Support is the important thing now!
A - Watch passed performance and see what was wrong (pretty obvious) B - Look at the players he has and fit a system to them rather than fit the players into a system. C - Motivated them and create a do or die team spirit where they all work for each other.
No way Jose - He's played more games than Winston already... fact...Bogarde used to fly over from Amsterdam in the morning, do his training at Harlington, then fly back to Amsterdam on the afternoon flight...I used to see him in the BMI Business class lounge...and he was on over £50K a week, and that was ten years ago... Nice job if you can get it... Stan
This is an easy thread. We all know who the weak links are without having to name them. We also all know where the gaps are in our squad. Harry does too. They are in the indispensable team positions that Harry likes to fill first and Hughes ignored to his cost. CF. Big, strong and fast with good ball skills to play alongsde nippy little parasite who feeds off his knock downs and gobbles up the chances. Big dependable CBs who would rather die than suffer the indigity of someone outjumping them at corners. If it really is going to be a short term appointment is this the moment for the Crouch/Defoe partnership Mark 3? Perhaps Cerny will be demanding more apologies if that does happen. If so, remember you read it here first.
Next break perhaps 'Arry should bring the squad down to Sandbanks for a spot of R&R, bonding, gelling etc. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...sand-dune-expensive-neighbourhoods-world.html http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM4YXN_Harry_Redknapp_Panorama_Road_Area_Sandbanks_Dorset_UK
