will be best in the Aston Villa v Bolton game. If Villa lose we are only two points behind them and their goal difference is getting closer to ours. If Bolton lose we are 4 points ahead and they only have one game in hand. Or a draw to give us a chance of overtaking Villa but still good enough to keep Bolton behind us, even if they win their game in hand, on goal difference.

A big win for Villa. They've both got easier run-ins so a confidence damaging defeat for Bolton would be just the job and further stuff their goal difference. They've both got Spurs at home would you believe?...

Villa won't go down. Its one from us, Bolton and Wigan. We need Bolton and Wigan to drop points anywhere and everywhere. Any win for Villa is excellent news for us.

I'd rather the teams behind us stayed behind us instead of hoping we overtake others.

It was bad enough that other results turned today's game into a must win.

Fair play to the whole team who did magnificently but the end was tense.

Can we try to do this the easy way for a change?

Villa to beat Bolton then they lose at Sunderland and pressure mounts
Blackburn to lose against Spurs and Chelsea but beat Wigan
Wigan lose to Newcastle and Blackburn but beat Wolves
    We beat Stoke-job done

Lost me Rebel. What about Bolton? Who goes down in this scenario? I like it though!
Ps we'll get our 3 points at the Bridge.

Three points should be enough now with our goal difference, assuming we don't get absolutely thumped at Chelsea or City. As long as we get three more Blackburn would need seven to overtake us which isn't happening and Bolton would need eight from five games which is highly unlikely given they're piss poor.

A lot of people are saying 3 points will do but I've got to say I'd be very nervous with only 3 more!

Four points would semented it. 1pts from Chelsea and 3pts from Stoke. However we are QPR so it might go like this 1pts from Chelsea 0pts from Stoke and 3pts from City......
