It's not a game many in England got to play, so where do you theorise you'd be best playing? right now I'd probably be an offensive lineman, lol. but 'in my prime' I suspect either a Linebacker or running back, as I was fairly quick and have fairly good upper body strength. I'd like to've said QB, although i could probably launch a few end-zone bombs, try as i might I just can't get the hang of making that ball spin

I'm not that tall, but, I'm pretty strong and aggressive, so I'd probably do fine as a running back. :emoticon-0165-muscl

At 26 I tried out at tight end for the Darlington Dragons, Wrecked my knee after three plays. Never got it sorted out, now the only team role I could fulfill, the bench and that would have dodgy legs!!!

Either a running back or safety!! Quick and stocky but only like 5'9 so it wouldn't be happening lol!!! I once met some lads from america on a night out in newcastle and tried to convince them i played for an NFL team by trying to run through a metal fence :-/

I used to play rugby union at school and played most positions, mainly because when I was young I was one of the taller boys in the year and was put in the forwards. As we all grew up I got a bit left behind by the giants and fat kids and stopped at a mere 5'10". I've filled out a bit now at the age of 28 (mainly in the stomach area), but still have good pace. No stamina but decent speed and the extra bulk would help me ride a few tackles. I was never great at tackling in rugby - basically get one of your team to run at me and you have yourself a free 5 points, so I'd put myself at running back or tight end, maybe a wide receiver but I think I lack a little height for that position.

Good thread this, but we'd not have a great team so far... A little shy in the linebackers and tackle positions! Where's the timber coming from?

I reckon cornerback. I'm tall and quick, but not massively built. And when I play football I tend to play in midfield and mark people, so I think I'd be good at sticking to the WRs during their routes. :)
