Rutter again no goals tonight he had about 3 chances to score, alot of effort but no end product against salford , had a feeling we would go out on penalties , put ourselves in the position 1-1 and although struijk scored his in ability to stop attackers in defence showed , maybe we need the ex Leeds player Matt Smith who played for salford at least he knows where the net is.

Why pick on Rutter, we had 33 shots, you say he had 3 of them, why not not name names who between them missed the other 30.
Granted his shot near the end he should have buried but he wasn't the only one

But Rutter is a striker and his job is to score , other players on the 30 other shots are not all strikers.

and he has now started scoring ;)

Maybe if those other players who aren't strikers, had passed the ball to our striker instead of taking shots themselves, we may have actually scored ;)

    2 goals in 9 matches that's not a striker

but we have already discussed this. If our non strikers keep taking 97% of our shots then its a bit difficult for any of our strikers to score.

As a very relevant example, Luke Ayling just blazed one over the bar from inside the Hull penalty area, instead of passing it to any one of our 4 attackers waiting for a pass ;)

I wonder why ayling did not pass the ball ? Do you think it could be that he thought the striker won't score same as many leeds fans think.

Rush of blood by Ayling. Disgusting decision to shoot - especially for a supposedly responsible captain. Should’ve squared it to any one of three or four Leeds strikers in the box. Play the percentages. Even a hard and low cross into the crowded area would have just required a touch goalwards.

    Ayling is not the brightest.
