Going to court as Carroll's red wasn't overturned:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26039222

Is it just me who wonders what people would say about this had Chico been standing a bit taller. Carroll's arm could've caught him smack in the nose and this is almost identical to the Sessegnon v Tiote red. Carroll swung his arm to hit the lad and Chico made a meal of it. Had he caught him in the face with it then I reckon there'd be no argument.

I didn't see West Ham complaining when the FA 'avoided' deducting points when they cheated over the Tevez affair.

They're ran by two porn kings & a witch.

Maybe Karen Bradey could cast a black magic spell on the FA.

It's turning into a farce, they're never going to get it overturned, but Flores is a cheating twat who deserves a ten match ban for being a complete ****er.

I can,t understand why they think he will be let off, all the intention was there whether he caught him or not.

I also think as many others that its time the F.A gave out punishment for the reaction of players like Chico, Johnson of Norwich
    Tiote V Sess
    Barry V Jones

    You could go on

Couldn't agree more. The way he behaved, I was gutted that Carroll didn't catch him flush on the nose.

Shocking bit of play acting by the swansea fella, however you just have too look at the expression on Carroll's face. That shows the "intent",and thats all the referee needs too explain the red card. Would get laughed out of court if they were stupid enough to take it any further.Although they've probably got some arsehole solicitor lined up who will say its against his "UMAN RIGHTS" not to let him play. The laws of the game are written down in black + white, unfortuanately for west ham,you can't change them just because a decision has'nt gone your way

This desperation from West Ham is not exactly a great confidence builder for Carroll's replacement. It could also open a can of worms if they succeed.

Backing a serial offender like Carroll is ludicrous to be honest .......... if West Ham pursue this nonsense they won't find much sympathy the next time they appeal a decision.

I suspect this is more to do with fans appeasement than any realistic prospect of success Smug.

I`d be very surprised if they proceed further with this rubbish.

    Your right of course mate.

To me it sends out a 'we're desperate' signal to everyone ....... 3 more defeats in a row and Di Canio will be parachuted in.

Dunno about PDC but it certainly smacks of desperation.
Their dressing room has to be a complete shambles.

W Hill are quoting 5/2 for relegation.
might be worth a half crown.

Surely they cant 'reconsider????????' The FA are making themselves look like a right bunch of charlies, yet again!

I think the intent was possibly there! I think he tried to disguise the fact that the swing of his arm was intentional! He didn't quite succeed by the look on his face! That maybe is why the FA upheld the red card and not give Carroll the benefit of the doubt!

beyond the joke if that happens imho ... henceforth all clubs will threaten with legal action if decisions are not to their satisfaction, F.A are making a rod for their own back!
