DM has already tried Monk of Swansea and Ward of Norwich.
If he does not go back for either of them who else is about?
How about Danny Wilson of Liverpool? He can also play left back

Danny Wilson could be a good loan signing who already has experience in the championship having been on loan at Blackpool last season. Liverpool have a few youngsters who could do well on loan. Jack Robinson is a very talented left back who currently is third choice behind Johnson and Enrique so isnt getting much game time. Stephen Sama could be a good central defender.

I think a number of the top clubs will have youngsters who require games. I guess it all comes down to whether DM wants to bring someone in for a few months who is young, looking to prove them selves or bring in someone with an option to buy who will be playing for a contract.

I do like the sound of Wilson if we are bringing in a youngster (also has a Rangers connection with DM)
I wonder if DM wants to bring in a big ugly centre half who has been around the block?

Watched Man Utd v Newcastle in the Capital One last week and was impressed by Wotton and Keane who were playing as centre backs for Man Utd. I think the commentator mentioned both were on loan to Championship clubs last season - worth a shot!?

Great shout, watched that game too and they both looked pretty good. Wages would presumably not be an issue either..

DM said on Radio Bristol that they nearly had someone on MOnday, but their club had suffered a couple of injuries at the weekend that stopped it - any ideas??
