I have read that there was supposed to be a question mark after the amex but that there wasn't enough room on the banner. Misinformed, ill thought out, badly executed.
Ohh look, went to the trouble of posting a picture to maximise the effect. “What on earth was that ridiculous banner about?” What – you think the “creators” are on this site? Because they’re the only ones that would know, aren’t they. I assume, unlike the braindead Brighton fans (and Carra, once again demonstrating that he’s the thickest person on these boards) that booed 2.5K visiting fans (most of which were behind the banner and had no idea what was going on) and the ones that are now blaming the whole club, you are sufficiently bright to realize identifiable groups aren’t necessarily a gestalt, faceless hive mind entity. If you belong to group x, you must believe y. No? Well done, Superman. I knew you were brighter than that. Though I admire your optimism that you think your curiosity will be satisfied by thinking the (presumably) one to four people responsible for that daft banner might be on here.
bloody hell jonah! it was an honest question. i posted the picture in case people didn't know what i was on about! i don't know if the perpetrators were known to have said anything or if anybody at the game might have known. i was purely curious but of course in your mind, there has always got to be an ulterior motive... idiot

Having had a look at TWTD it appears as though our old 606 friend' Caught in the Brambles',along with his pathetic section 6 college kid cronies,know more about it than most. Easy entry to University has a lot to answer for. to media studies and political science students,and their ilk.
