Following another miserable performance, to a team with no points before todays game, gets me worried. I see from time to time on these columns, how many subscribers seem very content with our new signings, and comment on strength in depth, but to be quite honest, when we have a couple of regulars missing,we just cant hack it. To many games seem to bumble along or we go behind, what then nothing, Jol does not seem to have any alternative strategy,or he may make a team change within the last 5/10 minutes."frustrating"
There are some very crucial games coming up over the next calender month.
    23rd Everton
    29th Wigan
    6th nov Spurs
    19th " Sunderland
    26th " Arsenal
From these matches we need no less than 9 points, because following on from that date, we start to encounter the big guns, apart from Man City.
Remember all the pundits from last year W H U have to much talent to be relegated,?
those same voices are saying the same about us in post match comments.

I don't remember any pundits saying WH had too much quality to go down last year.

I agree the next few games are crucial but I don't see the need to panic yet.

Shame we had the International break - the QPR game was the catalyst we needed to start a good run.

Need a good result Sunday to get going again.

We need a result on Sunday. All the first team should be there and probably hungry for a win. No panic button yet but we have to make up for the draws at the start!

i agree, i was reading some of the Spuds board and some of them was saying the same thing.
Jol is a good manager but when things dont go to plan he doesnt know what to do tactically. i dont get why he brings players on with minutes to go,

i remember them saying west ham are too good to go down, im pretty sure it was on MOTD and it was Dixon saying it aswell.

Could not agree more rosc. When Dembele went off that was the time to change - take off SA and bring on (probably) Sidwell. Instead Jol stuck with the same game plan/formation but 1 player less.

Given the status quo - when we went 1 down, that was when changes surely should have been made. This wasn't a two-leg game (no puns intended) so it matterd not if we lost by more than 1 goal. Have a go for goodness sake. Disappointingly there was no show of urgency by the team or the manager.

And what is the point of bringing Frei on for 5 minutes !

Unfortunately this is not the first time observations have been made about Jol's lack of a Plan B.
