Season ticket holder? Armchair fan? Not local? Out til Ashley dies? What you doing next season? Carry on as before? Give up? I gave up my season ticket 8 year ago when I emigrated. Since I come back 5 year ago I've just been picking and choosing my games, less every year. I'm done now like, to be honest I haven't enjoyed the match for a while, I usually just go up for a few beers and my dad turns up saying he's bought tickets. There's nothing there for me now
Was done with Ashley a few years ago... I said I'd never go, but i have on occasion went regrettably. There's no hope of the club ever competing now and that's the worst part. Since the Chelsea takeover I think all fans have sat with that unlikely hope a takeover of even similar magnitude would by some miracle come along, but now we've discovered that even if you win the takeover lottery the competition runner can just not pay out I mean what is the point? There's no hope whatsoever... Zero... Its only getting worse. BTW this isnt just about nufc fans it's a dead horse for all fans of clubs outside the big 6....were just a crowd used to advertise the competitions the cartel win.. Makes it look good on TV when they play at St James or a lively away end when they romp us away Monday nights nothing more.
The FA cup final was on yesterday and I didn’t watch it. I did the ironing instead. Football ain’t really that important to me these days.
if you want to throw **** then you're at the wrong stadium may I suggest another stadium three divisions down the road
still waiting for the return of my money from the Man Citeh FA cup game and the 5 games left from the PL It was pointless wanting to carry forward my money as a credit as I have already paid upfront for this season and no one knows when that is going to start In fact, with the virus thing it has made making my decisions easier to make my 1 game missed in 47 years is now out of the window so it will be no big deal to stay away from others in the future shame
I'm considering going back.. I know it seems crazy, but I feel like the establishment has destroyed our club and want to show in defiance... But that will just please the premier league... Its sickening.. Newcastle United will never be defeated?? I feel defeated.. There's no hope.. I was looking fwd to going back and tbh all of a sudden I'm not so bothered about Ashley.. The problems much much bigger than that
We buried my father in law yesterday. Puts the football into perspective. Just about had enough of this club tbh. Might be last chance saloon for next season
but we never expected the biggest problem would be the off field actions of certain Teams and the league itself keeping the cartel going
Exactly... We've sat hoping for an ambitious owner and it didn't have to be the takeover jackpot, but obviously every fan at any club has has hoped for that unlikely one.. We actually won that and we've discovered that because FFP failed they've simply stopped threat at source. If the premier league had grounds to fail it they would have! This is the point.. All the fans from other clubs are ignoring that because of course they wanted it to fail.. If piracy or human right was the issue then why wasn't it failed? Its common sense the answer to that question...
My interest in football, in general, is starting to wane. Other things are getting in the way and the lack of ambition makes it unbearable to watch us. My interest may pique again but unless there's radical change my attendance will remain non existent. For once, however, I don't fully blame MA
I'm like "what's the ****in point?" The prem have made it clear that the top table is full. There is no hope and the football is dull as ****. I watch football to be entertained and that just isn't happening. It's like going to the cinema, watching a movie, coming out and saying "**** me, that was ****" and then going back to pay good money to watch the same ****e movie the following week and again and again. That would be ****in mental.
The same small % of clubs passing trophies around and thinking they're more special in some way. It's just like f1 now.. A big advert
I haven’t had a season ticket for a few years now, but I still go to most games home and away. That won’t change.
