I have no idea why but I get a sense that theres more focus and direction now than there ever has been before until Donald's tenure. I think hes accepted he doesnt know how to run a club and has strained his relationship with fans beyond repair so sought out a CEO to run the club and work closely with the manager and recruitment staff.

Ultimately though, actions speak louder than words. Now so more than ever.

Got to try more of our academy players we have probably given away a team as good as the present one in the last 5 or 6 years, the likes of Robson and Embleton must be given a run out along with others and build a team around our own youth players. I wonder if the likes of Maja, Assoro or Honeyman would have stuck with the club if we had shown faith in our own. It might take longer to get there but we will be heading in the right direction and in the right manner. Surely this is better than constant change, we have seen enough of it tbh. This could be the time to start building a better future lets hope so.

My big worry is that we haven't bottomed out yet, we could drop further as we look and sound like a club in free fall, completely leaderless, rudderless and lacking one ounce of ambition. We are owned by a marginally successful insurance salesman who barely has the funds to run a non league club. Its depressing.

Had a dream that we were headed for relegation to L2 and we were all resigned to it. Don't know how it ended because it segued into me calling Donald Trump Jnr an idiot in a school playground.

That’s pretty much my thoughts. I thought that hitting the old Division 3 back in the 80s was the lowest that it would ever get for us. It seems that I’m wrong. As much as I want to like SD, I just can’t anymore. He and his mates are dragging us down and it’s anyone’s guess where we'll finally end up.

Whilst i agree with you entirely, will the expectations of some of our fans make them less able to cope.

If the owners (current or new) said something along the lines of "listen fellas, we're probably gonna have a few more seasons down here but we see the way forward is to blood and develop the youth" how do you think the fans who demand a new manager after a run of defeats are going to react?

Lets be honest, we probably haven't been the most patient when it comes to giving managers or players time.

I think it's because they support the club, not necessarily the owners.

I absolutely get that, but if they could grit their teeth and just for this once refuse to fund Donald, the club will change hands for sure. If we cut the cash flow he will off like a shot...job done

Drastic, and very risky, could be the end of our club imo.

Ive bought a season ticket for the past 29 years, I still have my season ticket for next season through my heart ruling my head. A lot of people jump on others that dont do what people think should be done to oust an owner, I will fully support organised protests and campaigns to force the owner out as he simply isnt good enough and hasn't delivered, but I have paid into the club for so long and been part of it that Im not going to let the current custodian force my hand to stop the club surviving. We seem to forget that this is a passion, a hobby, a routine call it what you want but we choose to go to support the team, its not a work related protest for higher pay. everybody is entitled to an opinion but people who still pay for next seasons seat isnt stopping Donald from selling up imo

No mate stopped altogether when I realised we are just getting the piss took out of us went to the final but by god that was dire. Something else comes to mind though if fans are happy to pay for season tickets and Donald just pisses it up the wall how exactly does that help the club?

Surely thats just the rule of supporting any club, you pay the money in return for entertainment and hopefully success, we just have somebody very poor directing proceedings atm
