My question is this what would everyone like to see happen before the transfer window shuts? Who would you like to be brought in? And who would you like to see go?

I would say the obvious need a natural left winger, also I think we are desperate to get another proven goalscorer, in my opinion not taking anything away from Saturdays performAnce if Larson didn't score that wonder goal we would never of scored? Get them two and I think we have a real chance of Europe this year.

Get rid of the dead wood e.g algerleri, kilgallen, free up the wage bill abit and get rid of Ferdinand or turner, not both. What does everyone else think?

We NEED a Striker. Of our nominal 4 in the 1st squad we only have Gyan who is proven at PL level. Dong and Whickham are potentials - Sess is a converted wide/midfield player.

In any season, injuries occur - remember our teams last year with NO strikers available? I can guarantee that Gyan will not be available for 4 - 5 weeks, as the ACN is from Mid Jan to Mid Feb.

Yes, we need strengthening on our LH side, but without a striker (someone who has a track record of 15+ goals in a good league), I can see us dominating a few games this year without being able to put the round thing in the string!!

Ferdinand is going to be a big player for us this year...I'm slightly concerned that Turner's injury may have been a lot worse than first thought because he has only looked half the player he once was...

Nos, Kilgallon, GORDON (yes! Gordon), Turner can go.

Krajar (sic), decent c/f in. I'd even have Owen.

We all know what we need, but as to Bruce getting them.......well that's a different matter.

For all pre-season i have been thinking it was a striker more than a l/w.

Now i know we are still desperate for another striker, but a l/w has to be priority.

Having watched Larssons goal over and over, and noticed how far to the left side of goal he is, we need him on the right and someone of equal or better calibre on the left.

Ji and Wickham may have a lot to show us yet, but as usual our left is ****e..

Watch where Larsson is for the goal, proves how far over he went. Magic take though.

    Brilliant.

For me it’s got to be Niko Kranjčar by lunchtime Friday incase Brucie gets caught up in the pie cart & has an afternoon nap.

Agree with most the shouts so far except Gordon & Ferdinand. When fit he is our best Keeper, thats not saying Mig or Westwood will be just as good but Gordon is proven but goalkeeper is an area we are very strong in so why weaken it now?

No surprise I'm going to say left winger and striker also but I still dont see why we havnt went for a left back, even Newcastle are in the market for left backs of the calibre of Sissoko so why arent we? However I think this wont be addressed until next summer as it isnt as important as the other 2 positions mentioned previously.

We have needed a LW for 2 seasons now, we also have nor replaced Bent who went in january! Please do get 2 further players in.
Kranjcar could be one, the new striker need only come for a one year loan as one of the two young uns' should be up and running after that.
