All the money spent last summer and it looks like we are going to finish with less points than last year with a bottom half finish. I have heard quite a few people calling for Brucie's head but is this the right option I aint to sure you could blame the injuries but if that's the case our squad just aint strong enough. I don't think we will go down but things need addressing in the summer, Short must be fuming.
Texans are hardly patient, understanding folk. More like you earn your way, whether it be success or failure. One thing for sure, Quinn will know where Short stands on Bruce.
imo Short will be thinking why did we not do more to keep Bent, why did we not hve anyone lined up, how unlucky we have been with injuries and probably shaking his head in disbelief at some of our supporters for wanting to get rid of Bruce. I sky plussed the Sky Sports new preview of the match, not one of the pundits criticized Bruce, they all said he had a terrible run of injuries and there was some criticism of the fans for having a go at Jordan Henderson, a young player who's confidence could be blighted by the fans attacks. One did say Bruce's reputation had suffered(Phil Thompson), however to a man they said without the injuries we would have finished higher up the league. Like it or not, Bruce is Shorts man, imo he is going nowhere, imo drive out Bruce and Short will walk and if he sold the club back to Bob Murray you would only have yourselves to blame. Any talk of getting guns then it should be blowing off their own heads.
Let quinn step up to the plate now and sack bruce. If he doesnt do it do you think ES will put up with Niall. We need a strong chairman to do whats neccessary. I hate the fact that I am calling for brucies head but today I think SAFC lost 3-5,000 supporters who will not return for a while
The supporters should "step up to the plate" and support Bruce, supporting your own club and manager, interesting concept.
Been there and dunnit. Gettin eff all in return. Hope I am proved wrong and would like him to succeed but at this moment in time I would prefer to suck a used tampon.
So you just ignore the results before christmas - your just really looking at the results since the injuries kicked in and Bent left You really mean "Gettin eff all in return" since christmas don't you. I call getting relegated "Gettin eff all in return.", I call not having a single memorable performance as "Gettin eff all in return" and I call not signing any players as "Gettin eff all in return", what you mean is your not getting what the early season promised in return, which I can appreciate and agree with. Lets not forget the good things that happened before christmas, its not fair on the club and its not fair on Bruce - getting rid of him would put us back 1 to 2 years - look at Villa - and cost us millions. I would always rather have a good run in the league at the end of the season as that is when it matters, however without a recognized striker getting any result will be hard.
Accept all your points. My rants yesterday were whilst I was bitter (8 pints of) about the absolutely second half naff performance from our players, possibly with the exception JC & sess, who at least tried.
respect Malbranquelastfag, I'm so annoyed & frustrated you could not believe it, I should let it go like everyone else seems to be doing, too bloody stoical for my own good
Bruce is no more 'Short's man' than Mourhino or Phil Scolari were Abromovich's men. Managers, like players can be used, bought and sacked. If Short thinks Brucie is a busted flush I have no doubts he will be gone. Whether or not that is the right thing to do is another debate all together.
You had no say in it Jersey, you like many had faith in him because he was appointed by the club...........looks like you are joining the many who no longer have that faith..
