Everytime i load up the site i am greeted with 'post of the month', 'newbie of the month', 'member of the month', then if its not any of these its the bloody wifes 'time of the month'!! Seriously guys, you have to scroll all the way down to find something that isnt 'of the month'! I know people will say if you don't like it then don't read it , which i generally don't but Im getting pissed off finding my way through this stuff!. Can't we have a separate section for this stuff?? Rant over
You have to admire the energy and effort some of our members are putting into this forum. It has to be encouraged. However, the only stickie i want to see is Rollers weekly prediction. We really don't need to tell each other how great we are and slap each other on the back every month.

Each to their own. Whilst I probably agree with the overkill sentiment expressed above, can't help thinking the awards thing could be the equal and opposite 'positive' reaction (i.e. counter balance) to the 'negatives' inherent in the continuous Cerny / Joey / Col / Ellers / Bob fox and hounds show - and similar conflict threads. There've been similar numbers of complaints both 'pos's' and 'negs'. Live and let live I say!
