After yesterday it got me thinking. Where would we be if Hernandez hadn't of got injured? Them away games at the begining of the season we draw after conceding in the last 10 minutes. With Hernandez we got of nicked them games and been in a decent position and had a go at the play offs. I genuinely think with Abel we'd 8-10 places higher.
It's a nice thought but Ehab pretty much confirmed Hernandez would have been sold if he never got injured.
the sceptic in me is imagining Ehab rubbing his hands together with the renewed prospect of flogging Abel for £10m as soon as school's out this summer. he's very quick at selling our best players but shyte at selling the club
Abel is out of contract I believe at the end of the season so he won't actually get anything for him.
I would be delighted if Hull City got £10 million for AH in the summer given that his current contract expires at the end of June. MoH
Abel Hernandez not guaranteed to leave Hull City as he discusses future Hernandez opens up on plans for next season and World Cup aims https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...news/abel-hernandez-hull-city-uruguay-1326728
It’ll be like his statement saying his Italian interview was misinterpreted after he said he’d definitely be leaving. Bollocks! Even if we did somehow manage to sign him back, I’m sure Ehab would be looking at selling soon after & blaming the player for pushing a move!
Exactly my thoughts, get him to sign a lucrative contract, then sell him for the regulation £10 million, short term pain, long term gain, this has got Eham's fingerprints all over it.
It's like a Blackadder quote. "Uruguay's top 3 strikers play for the three great clubs: Barcelona, PSG and league 1 Hull Tigers."
