I've had enough of all the negativity and worry, thought I'd start something more positive. Among many other things, one of the things that makes me really proud are the colours blue, yellow and white. Does any club have better colours? Not that I can think of. please log in to view this image So what is it that makes you proud to be a Leeds fan?
The all-white strip, the amazing away support, the history & the fact that fans of lesser clubs like Millwall & Norwich seem obsessed with us. I'm sure they spend more time on our board than they do their own!
The fact we are hated by so many clubs throughout the country and even the world. The fact that we are one of the few remaining goliath clubs that have truly passionate and vocal support.
Despite all the financial problems, relegations and tragedies our supporters never fail to stand proud and show their allegiance to the Mighty Whites. On and on.
Iâm proud of saying Iâm from Leeds and I support Leeds. I canât say Iâm proud of our fans cos Iâve met some unsavoury ****wits in my time that I would quite happily kick the **** out of but I love our support at away games and the fact we go in numbers wherever we go. I love the fact I can go to different countries and ALWAYS find another Leeds fan there and do the salute. And I love the fact if it wasnât for Leeds I wouldnât have met my some of my best friends and my boyfriend. Iâm proud of being Leeds.
The passion we have through thick and thin. Us being like an extra player for the team. Also unlike other teams, when we see our colours in other places or countries the Salute to each other. Been to many countries and we seem to be the only fans that respect each other.

It amazes me how many threads are started about Leeds on the Millwall board. Not a single one's ever been made on here about Millwall. Weird.
Because our away support is so fantastic and even after 7 years outside the Premier League, everyone still hates us.
Despite now living in a small town in North west Leicestershire there are numerouse leeds fans living here . Both my kids have leeds supporting friends at School in my workplace at Ashby there are 3 leeds fans from the Derby / Swadlingcote area. Never fails to amaze me when driving up the M1 how many cars pass you with Leeds suporters in them. Through the good times and the bad we stay loyal to our team
was in a McDonalds in northern lancashire, round Colne area, saw a kid in a full white Leeds strip. Said MOT to him.

Ok..... Im proud because my dad was and his dad was. From the min i could breath i had white and yellow hammered into me..... he loved Leeds with a passion that u could not measure...he nevered wavered however bad it got... I have all the kits ever since i was a boy right to the present day... My daughter loves leeds and my Son Lucas (no guessing who named him) who is 4 thinks any team in white on the tv is Leeds so shouts "come on leeds" even if its Real Madrid!! (i dont have the heart to tell him just yet) when a goal goes in he is a mini rocket screaming and jumping around!! So its in my blood...like all of us... Good times and bad and there has been many... I moan like F**K and i cheer like crazy but i Love Leeds.... Ive cried in many staduims form Wembly to cardiff to the san siro and even at Carlise...John Howson i love u for that goal!! They are my Club.. That will never change and neither will it for Lucas who im sure has years of pain...and a few years of joy in front of him..
Don't Charlton lay on coaches to bring fans in from Gillingham to their home games at the Valley? Says a lot about the Gills!
I swear ten years down the line, there'll be a whole generation of Leeds fans called Lucas! Another great reason to be proud of our club, that man.
So what does that say about the Gills? Because we cannot afford players that would potentially get us to a higher league, surely shows those that support the Gills show real passion and loyalty. For those that want to get on the Charlton red buses, best of luck to them, however, showing true support is about supporting your club, not attempting to seek glory football just because your local club is not so successful, I would have thought any genuine Leeds fan would realise this after their experiences of lower league football, which reminds me where did your fans go during the hard times? Oh! and if you had bothered to research your theory properly, you would realise most of those on the red buses these day's cannot even be bothered to get off. I will not bother searching for that article but it just goes to show how fickle some fans are, whether that be Charlton or my club the Gills.
