So once the FA Cup and CL is over there's a bit of a wait for The World Cup and that's pretty dull anyway so the random threads will start.

We'll generally invade some forum (Jack Army for example) or other boards, Brb is also bored and generally joins in with this ****. Strange threads about all sorts of nonsense will also appear.

So what can we get up to this Summer to prevent the boredom?

My Ramadan Diaries will be going up this week...that's got potential for some racial tension, if you're interested in fuelling that fire, all welcome.

Should see us through to near enough the World cup

No offence mate but I hate ramadan with a passion!!

I admire the willpower involved, just not the impact it has on me!

I would really reconsider. At least think it through more thoroughly. Maybe seek out services in your neighbourhood that can support you in this (I assume) difficult and confusing time.

Choice didn't come into it mate.

We've got a cracking weekend coming up and we can't fire up the barbie until after 9.

I don't mind Ramadan in winter mind.

They've broken fast before I get home.

<laugh> yeah being out the house when the wife and kids are fasting is great, even for us Muslim men

That said I struggle more in the winter even though the hours are shorter, much shorter

Really? I'd have thought winter was best time for you. We were married 16 years ago last week and I think Ramadan was around December. Didn't seem too bad then mate. The last few years have been the height of summer.

    Tough going for you guys.

    Congrats mate.

I'm not speaking for everyone but yeah I find winter tougher and quite a few people I have spoken to agree. Think it's the whole body needing food for warmth and that.

I first started fasting when it was similar to now, as a teen and remember we used to just head out and play cricket etc until 9 then come home and eat

Being a smoker later was murder. But food wise no issue in warmer weather

You need to move to the Tropics - warm weather and Suhur 4:41, Maghrib 1744. Doesn't change more than half an hour either way throughout the year.

Looking forward to Spurlock's thread again. Think he should call it Duncan Donut's Ramadan Diary though.
