Apart from the bleeding obvious i.e. remain in the prem and avoid relegation, what dream would you like to see come true in our 1st season back in the Prem? Mine has been the same ever since the end of last season and yesterday walking through Utrecht, a very pretty town I may add, i started day dreaming again and the hair on the back of neck stood up as I started to humm We're top of the league We're top of the league We're Queen's Park Rangers And we're top of the league So my dream is we get a chance to sing this for a couple of weeks espicially away at Chelsea. Anyone else have a dream moment for next season?
Watching the hoops live on Peruvian telly, that has been my dream ever since coming back to work in Peru 4 and 1/2 years ago, now my dream is becoming a reality!!!! That I get to see the Hoops in action when I'm back in England over Christmas, now I am dreaming!
Staying up, and nicking even one point off one of the top 4 or 5 teams. Oh, and new owners (who would take the R's on a pre-season tour to the States and play a game in Texas)
Bragging rights, simple! -Liverpool -Arsenal -Spurs -Chelsea -Manure Doing the double on some of them would be heaven, unbeaten against some would rank pretty high as well Nightmare though would be the reverse...
The ultimate dream is for all of the above to come true. There seems to be alot of us overseas supporters and I was just wondering as we obviously can only watch the odd live game and rely on TV highlights or live matches on TV or online do you feel more or less conected with the club. Because I for one feel just as connected with Qpr since living abroad, if not more, as I am more curious & sensitive on finding out what's happening than when I was living in London and via sites like this find out a great deal of information so much so that I have friends that go to LR fairly often but ask me whats happening!
I'm very lucky with my PL subscription. I can at any matchday choose up to six differnet live matches simultaniously. On a saturday for instance this mean that first its the early kick of, then the three o'clock games and then the late kick off (up to 8 saturday matches max to choose from). So with sunday games and the monday night match i don't think there will ever be more than 8 games on a saturday (except the last round), meaning i could possibly see all 38 games live on TV this season!
Hi Norway, I need to get some TV deal sorted as that sounds great, but where I live they don't allow satilite dishes, don't think there is a cable feed. I was hoping to get over for several matches this year but i think tickets will be hard to come by? Managed 4 last year which should of been 5 but had 4 hour delay, majorly pissed at Eurostar that day; will you manage to gret over to LR this season?
It's a must to attend Loftus Road this season! Nothing's planned yet but i was hoping to introduce my 6 year to QPR this year Was lucky enough to get over twice last season, Coventry and Sheff Utd. The QPR supporters club in Norway has purchased 9 season tickets, which if available, can be distributed between it's members. So theres def options re tickets. But it nearly killed me today when a workmate (who's an Everton fan) told me he had tickets and was flying over for Everton-QPR Last year the channel that has the Football League rights looked to have fallen in love with Rangers, and screened us 17 times live! Made it an memorable promotion campaign. Now that we are in the premiership i can see almost every game i reckon, and that for a price of no more than £20 per month. My cabel company uses fiber optic cable and the PL subscription is in HD.
Hammersmith council buys QPR and starts building a new ground somewhere in the white city area, bernie changes his will and leaves all his money too QPR supporters club, and everything runs smoothly dont win PLtill next year.
Pipe-dream for this season: Goons bought out by Mittals or another rich benefactor who will invest wisely in the club, plus survival. Five years from now I would like to see us established in the PL with a new stadium and contenders for the top six. Take a look at Stoke and Fulham, they've done it sensibly and progressed, it CAN be done.
