There really are some idiots on Twitter!

The stuff McNally has to deal with on twitter is odd! But I guess it comes with the job. He handles it well.

This morning I have seen at least two people telling McNally that we should get rid of Delia and the club needs to be bought by some rich Arabs! It's like they come straight from the pink 'un. The sort of people who want Hughton sacked!

    ILD would be furious!

Talking of ILD, I haven't seen him post in a while! Where's he gone?

It's a gateway for abuse to people who may otherwise be unreadable.

However it does have its good moments - Angel Rangel.

It's (sadly) a ready made platform for keyboard warriors, plebs and ******s - though they can easily be unfollowed or blocked. I use it to keep informed and amused - both in an ideal world, as do people like Carra Rud, canaryDave canariessoccer etc.

Anyone who is racist, swears a lot, talks bilge etc gets kicked into touch without the slightest hesitation <ok>

I have no wish to Tweet or Facebook. I am happy to be on this social network because despite our differences on the means the end, namely success for NCFC, is justified by those differences. But the remainder do not inspire me at all.

The January window is just a platform for the weak and feckless "fan" to go into complete meltdown.

Idiots that believe everything they read (amazed some of them can read) and take every apparent action as "lack of ambition" or "insane risk".

Complete morons that aren't worthy of this club if they can't hold their nerve for 30 days or so.

I think the most informative NCFC "tweeter" is @clivehunn

    Don't you agree Tony_munky??

I'm sure Mc'Nally thinks these people are complete morons. I know I do.

Did you see yesterday someone set up an account as the horse found near CR, praising Delia's carrots!

That's my point exactly, by using up his time responding to said cretins, he's not on the phone trying to finalise potential transfer targets. Unless, of course, we don't have any!! <yikes> <wah>

Someone asked him this the other day and he responded that he was multitasking. I came within a hair's breadth of asking him if he was in touch with his feminine side. I use twitter; it lets me know what my male relatives are up to; I use Facebook for the women.

I'm with you there Redruth 100%. This Forum is enough for me and I often struggle to find time for that. I have not joined Facebook or Twitter and I have no intention of doing so. If everybody who finds it trivial and annoying left it alone perhaps it would go away as it doesn't seem to serve any real purpose.

Sorry 1950, but I beg to differ there. I follow people on twitter from all walks of life. Sport, especially NCFC and Essex cricket, photographers, wildlife enthusiasts - especially birdwatchers, the RSPB, bands and music media reviewers and so on. It basically depends on one's own personal interests as to who gets followed.
But I'll bet if someone was interested in flower arranging, playing bridge or paragliding, for example, then they will definitely find like-minded company on there. <ok>

It's about 2 hours ahead of the traditional media in updating anything newsworthy.
