I'd like to start by saying I was extremely realistic in knowing this season wasn't going to be easy and that staying up would be a good achievement. We all had our expectations raised after the Man u game, not just because of the result, but due to the performances from Ulloa, Vardy, Mahrez and I would even go as far as saying Hammond and Schlup. But since then we have played boring, predictable football and barely posed an attacking threat. The reason this frustrates me is because we then drop Mahrez and Ulloa for the Brom game and the likes of Schlupp, Powell and Knockheart haven't been given a sniff. I could understand if we were still scraping results but I would much rather see those sorts of players given a chance and be on the back end of a 5-3 defeat instead of losing 1-0 at home.

I just wondered if anyone had heard anything on why these players are being dropped/not played and instead we opt for 4 central midfield players, at home, against a team that were really there for the taking! I don't want to sound prematurely pessimistic but the current situation brings back those memories and of 2011-12 season when we had a big dip in form and Nige persisted in playing players that didn't really deserve their spot or out of position.

Im heading down to St. Mary's next week and must say im not all that optimistic at the moment :emoticon-0108-speec

Less worrying about the opposition for a start - let them worry about us!

Both Newcastle and West Brom were there to be beat but ****e team selection meant we got what we deserved!

Not knowing your best starting XI doesn´t help. Plus we need more quality premiership players, easy said than done I know but a fact.

Listening to the radio yesterday - they had the commentator from the Stoke v West Ham game on Saturday on - he said that the atmosphere was cracking - helped by the fact that Stoke went for the throat from the off - they went 2-0 up but instead of sitting back continued to press for a third - they were hauled back to 2-2 as we know ,,, but they got standing ovation from their fans despite that ... because of the entertainment and excitement they had provided.

That's all I require Nigel ... not this tentative containment stuff that inevitably sees us falling behind with little chance of clawing it back until you are forced to be more positive via substitutions ...

Let's take th game to the opposition EVERY time like we did against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man United ... contrast how we collectively felt losing at Chelsea with a stirring performance with how we felt after Palace, Newcastle, Swansea and West Brom.

I think we worrying miles too much about the opposition and not our own game. Against any team who potentially could get relegated which is everyone except Man U, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham. We should be looking to win the games against them at home and away looking to be a bit more stronger in the middle of the park

Listened to Pearson's after match comments and was quite interested to hear what 'inspired' his team selection. Seems like he had a desire to make the team harder to beat. While that should be true when playing away or even at home against some of the top teams, shouldn't he be setting up to beat the likes of WBA? After all, if we don't try to beat them then who are we going to try and beat? WBA will be one of the teams in the relegation mix at the end of the season so we at least have to try and take 3 points at home and try and pinch something away.

The selection against Southampton is going to be interesting. While it's tempting to go ultra defensive is that the best way, or will it just mean the ball will keep coming back? And I don't have much confidence in our ability to see out a 0-0.

    I'll go for the following:

    --- Schmeichel ---

    ---De Laet--- ---Morgan--- ---Moore--- ---Konchesky---

    ---Vardy--- ---Drinkwater--- ---Hammond--- ---Cambiasso--- ---Schlupp---

    ---Ulloa---

    Nigel Pearson.

Out of his depth at this level, at least for the time being. Tragic summer transfer window is enough proof for that.

    Your point being?

    We're, what, 10 games in?

We have a squad of premiership quality players with a manager capable at this level.

    You have the opposite.

So, you're saying that 10 games is too early to make a judgement?

Yet... You're making a judgement?

You have a **** manager and **** players. You were lucky having a long run of games against teams on the beach, out of form and just generally couldn't give a ****. Everyone has upped their game against us, we're the team everyone wants to beat. We've also been criminally robbed of at least 15 points by truly **** officials.

We weren't better than Newcastle in 2009 but they still went down instead of us. It happens sometimes, just admit it, we're better than you and you got lucky.

King Bruce is a ****er and going back where he belongs, although yesterday he actually took the blame for something for what I believe is the first time ever (unbelievable I know). Nige will join him soon enough, hopefully once you've got shot of the ****, after he's brought you down, because I enjoy going to Leicester and I don't want to have to endure another year of premiershite in my life.

Just admit when you've made a tit of yourself and get reminded of it. Obviously we're not ****e as we finished 14th which makes 6 teams worse one of which is you. Enjoy the downwards spiral

Hahahahaha what a complete and utter tit. You're embarrassing yourself fella just like your owner has made your club a laughing stock.
Boo frikety hoo. It's everyone else fault that you are getting relegated, everyone getting luck.... Nothing to do with you all being dog ****e and king Bruce wasting a ton of money on donkeys like Hernandez.
Jog on sunshine and go and plan for the championship back where you belong. Good riddance. Fans like you that give the rest of your supporters a bad name. Very funny though!:emoticon-0136-giggl<laugh><laugh><laugh>:emoticon-0136-giggl

End of the day, Hull LOST to Burnley - at home! In a game they HAD to win! I don't know how they can seriously say they didn't deserve to go down with a straight face!
