Pundits and reporters are harping on about how our young team got demolished last night, I think they must be blind.

The only youngsters in the team were Coquelin, Frimpong and Oxlade-Chamberlain. Ok, Miquel came on, but apart from them, the others are experienced players that got hammered !!!

Both the keepers are young and that is a fairly key position! The each gave away a goal.

Santos and Vermaelen were the only players on the pitch who regularly get picked for the first-team. That's what they mean when they said "young team". It's a misnomer.

First team players we didn't use: Van Persie, Walcott, Gervinho, Ramsey, Chesney, Arteta, Mertesacker, Koscielny and Song. And people still said we put out a "strong side". Impressive.

Your actually young U18s got hammered 3-0 by Southampton. Your lot looked proper shocking defensively.
