With the lack of information and what appears to be a lot of speculation “What is the Truth”.
I like everyone else would like to know the answer but it would appear there is some kind of vow of silence that has been taken by anyone connected to the club.
Is it that secret clandestine talks are under way in a remote location to try and broker a deal where the dynamic duo will eventually achieve their goal and sell up, and who will be the purchaser?
Or more worryingly are that same dynamic duo so consumed with F1 that they are not available to hold any meetings even to discuss the purchase of a player yet alone the future of the club.
Is it there intention to try and totally frustrate NW into resigning because I believe that he would not fall into that trap.
Whatever is the truth and let’s hope we know the answer to that soon QPR our club will still be there and even if we only have one season in the PL, but I think it will be more, let’s enjoy the moment.
After over 50 years of following the R’s I will continue to “Fear the Worst” and “Hope for the Best.

What is the truth? Oscar Wilde said it was rarely pure and never simple. Smart words but in our case, was he right?

Strip all the hope and expectation out of the mix right now and the truth is we're ****ed ... pure and simple! (Sorry Oscar me old wit!)

I'm clinging on to the hope that when Bernie was away on F1 business last week, Flabio was left to negotiate with the Indians - hence CernyBerny's last report that Flabio was being difficult. Now that Bernie has (presumably) returned to the UK, he will get his feet under the negotiating table and something might happen.

Fact or fantasy - who knows?

The truth appears to be whatever fits your agenda.

Some of the crap that appears on here and in the newspapers is belived as "truth" by those who want to believe it because it suits their way of thinking.

Now, the "Real Truth" is a totally different matter. Strangely, the "real truth" is often not believed until after the event!

So from now on when I'm driving down Burntwood and up Garrett Lane (which is often cos I work around there) I'll be keeping my eye out for a Jack Nicholson lookalike in a blue and white hooped shirt!!

True about some of our truths Eamon, but apart from the truth that both sets of billionaires are there to sting us one way or the other, what's your truth at the moment... and how might that differ from the real truth that emerges with the benefit of hindsight?

I find it hard to believe that there hasnt been any kind of leak regarding takeover etc.
thats why i think that the Mittals have cooled off..i hope im wrong, but normally something like takeovers are extremely hard to keep in house.

Possibly true, deano - and I agree it's silly season in the press at the moment, and they're hungry for anything - but what would the press report that's new? That the Goons and Mittals are meeting - that's not news, they're all the owners. That the Mittals may make another offer, at present unknown - that's hardly news either. Offers are reported in the press after they've been made, not before.

The only other thing is the so called "Arab" factor - would that be reported if the press had an inkling that Mittal had a potential partner? I suppose it might...I'll go back to the tea leaves...

As said before, surely all this speculation would have leaked into the gutter press by now if there was even a tiny amount of truth behind it - but most of it seems to be on this and other boards, and not out in the general press for all to see. This makes me think we are holding on to the fantasy that the Goons are going to sell up, but we'll all be bought back down to earth when we're languishing at the foot of the PL "doing a Derby" - I hope I'm wrong, but the longer it drags on the more pessimistic I'm becoming.

You are not wrong, Steelmonkey! They are not going, wait and see? they are staying to the bitter end so they can get as much money from the pot as they can. Then when that is done then off they will go and leave the club in a worse state then when they came in! Always remember money makes money! Never mind chaps at least we have a season at the top. (or bottom!!) night all.
