I went to watch the Wigan game and I have just realised it was the best I've ever seen Leicester play - I genuinely can't remember when we were so composed on the ball, solid in the back and dangerous up front.

Note that I normally only listen to games on the radio as I am working so only get to go to the odd game - last season I only went to two and only got to see two on TV - so it isn't like I have a massive pool of matches to compare against, but of the ones I have seen, it ranks top.

Sure there were some negatives - De Laet pissing about, Nugent not taking his chances etc. but all in all it was an excellent performance.

What is the best match that you have watched? (any visitors to our board are welcome to reply too).

For sheer drama (and atmosphere) the FA Cup quarter final against Shrewsbury back in 1982 - have a look at the article below and how the author has ranked it amongst other 'classics'

Play-off final against Derby for the sheer emotion and passion shown by everyone related to Leicester.

Thank you Steve Walsh (Legend, not current) <ok>

Loads of them, but the 3-3 with Arsenal ranks up there. Completely outplayed for 75 minutes with Vieira dominating midfield and probably the best hat trick ever scored courtesy of Dennis Bergkamp, only for the game to change big style including a (from memory) 5th minute injury time equaliser. Walshy - take a bow.

Best Leicester game watched was Huddesfield and Ipswich last season. We scored in nearly every attack

But one of the my favourite games is the Leeds game back in League 1 where Steve Howard scored from a corner in the last minute. Very good game followed by a late winner that basically got us over the line

I would refer to the Ipswich game as "like shooting fish in a barrel"

We were utterly hopeless that day and practically scored your first two goals for you but hats off to Dyer who made our full back look like Sunday pub league and Knockaert for running rings round our whole midfield

You was the worst team I ever saw that day. You wouldnt have looked out of place in Sunday league. Mick McCarthy said live on Sky recently that he hates coming to our place after you got "dicked for 6" <laugh>

    Got to love Mick

It just shows how far you have come though. The last time we got promoted to the prem we lost 6-1 at your place so a bit of revenge for that

Good call Barwell (not just that particular game but also that there are many) - particularly recall a game against Liverpool many years before where we were 2-0 down before Keith Weller scored a hat-trick in a 3-2 win.

With no doubt what so ever it has to be the 2001 UEFA cup final in Dortmund, LIVERPOOL 5-4 ALVES. It had 9 goals, a come back from Alves when they were 3-1 down to make it 3-3, a pen, 2 red cards (both Alves) an OG (Alves), extra time, the golden goal winner from Liverpool although I never liked the idea. I was very close to the front & seen the Liverpool squad parade the cup right in front of me. & to top it all I found out the misses was preggers with our 1st the day before. Quite a week.

Oh with LCFC it has to be a 4-4 game v Watford one boxing day way back in the Filbert st. days

Best city game I went to was when we lost to Swindon in the play offs at the old wembley, 3 nil down and then Walsh, Joachim and Steve Thomson scored, what a game. Pity we were cheated in the end but hey!

Non city was palace v liverfool in the FA cup semi in 1990 with Alan Pardew scoring the winner for palace!

Best football match I have ever watched without Leicester being involved is the Liverpool V AC Milan Champions League final in Istanbul

AC 3-0 up at half time and cruising. They scored in the 1st minute aswell

Steven Gerrard pulls on back, Vladimir Smicer scored a 25 yarder and Xabi Alonso scored the equaliser from a rebound after missing a penalty. All Liverpools goals was within something like 5 minutes

Then Jerzy Dudek saved 2 or 3 penalties to win Liverpool the cup.

Crazy game where I actually felt like a Liverpool fan while watching it

    Difficult to say.

Do I go for the most obvious? Derby playoffs. Do I go for the most entertaining? 3-3 Arsenal. Do I go for the most goals? The 6 goal games last season. Do I go for the most emotional? 2-1 Spurs. Do I go for the most enjoyable? 4-0 Leeds.

For me nothing will beat the FA Cup replay against Man City at Filbert St in 68! We were drawn against them, a lot in the 60's and we were always 2nd best. But that night we went 0-2 down, and the Manx supporters were giving us verbal big time! Than BIG John Sjoberg rolled up is sleeves and put Mike Sumerbee in his back pocket so much so that the 2nd half he had to go out on the wing! and we won 4-3 what a night what a atmosphere that night will remain with me forever! R.I.P John Sjoberg a great player for the Foxes.

I'd like to say the fence is comfortable, but it's not.

What a game that was :) I was in Pen 2 or 3 at the time. You have to say Bergkamps hat trick was out of this world.

But for me, and although we lost, I would have to say the play off final against Swindon Town. 3-0 down, we came back to 3-3 only to give away a penalty late on. I would have to describe the moment when Steve Thompson equalisedm, as being the best feeling I have had (apart from the birth of my son). I still get goose bumps when I see the goal :)

5-2 vs Sunderland at Filbert Street (not sure when, possibly 1998) for an all round complete performance.

Collymore's debut saw him bag a hat-trick and him and Heskey were on song upfront. The fact Sunderland got 2 was a travesty as we battered them all over the park.

Think I have to agree with you here. I was only about 10 years old and this game almost single-handedly got me in to football.
