What can we do when no one loves us, my answer for what it is worth is
Put Curbs in charge of team selection until the new year.

JAN UARY Sack Rigg move Curbs to director of football, then we may be able to get in a
quality manager, he new man having sole control over team selection and transfers <doh>

To restore confidence in the team, we need a new face now. Whomever takes charge though, still has to find the answer to our biggest problem of all, on the pitch that is – we do not have a proper defensive midfielder.

You only have to look at Cairney in particular, but the rest of our midfield as well, in the lead up to Forest’s second goal yesterday to get a perfect example of what’s wrong. You could argue that the biggest problem is we can’t defend set pieces and that’s true. And a new boss (Curbishley even) could do something about that simply by,

    a) changing from zonal to man marking; and
    b) having players attack the ball rather than hanging on to opposition shirts.

However, I still contend that it’s the lead-up to those set pieces that’s the Big Issue. And to resolve that we will need a good, experienced central midfielder.

We need to find a manager. Enough with the head coach semantics, go out and find someone who can run the day to day football side of our club like a normal manager - bringing in a yes-man will just prolong this farce. There is nothing wrong with Rigg or the manager finding the players and the other having a final yes/no decision. If Rigg is so insecure in his leadership that we cannot hire a normal manager, then perhaps Ros is right and we should fire him. However...
...I feel that sacking Rigg and promoting Curbishley just gives us another half-baked regime change without addressing the actual underlying problems. My preference would be to fire Ali Mac & Curbishley, bring in a real board of non-executives who turn up every month to a board meeting and have our COO (Rigg) and CFO (O'Loughlin) truly report to the board. You know, like a normal standard business. Rigg then has a manager reporting to him as well as other operational people (marketing, facilities etc) and O'Loughlin produces the various financial reporting metrics that enable the board to prevent the excesses that were prevalent under Ali Mac and prevent us from failing FFP (!). The board then has no involvement with the day to day business, but has the necessary oversight to make changes if things fall apart.

If Khan ran Fulham like he runs his normal corporate business, I think we'd be much better off. It drives me crazy that we have so many cowboys/parasites at our club and no financial oversight or normal corporate processes.

Too many people are sucking the pay cheque and adding no value to the business.
I can't understand how and why the club think it's acceptable behaviour.
Sack Rigg, he adds no value. Employ a manager to run the football side. Ali Mac seems to have run his time down at the club too.

Frankly, I'm at a loss as to what is going on. No one comes out of this positively: Khan, AliMacm, Rigg, (even) Curbs. So they better have a bloody good appointment up their sleeve!
