We've got midfielders coming out of our ears, more strikers than you can shake a stick at and more central defenders than any other club in the league.

WHY CAN'T WE SIGN A PAIR OF FULL BACKS ?

I understand that our standard wages aren't good enough for the Argie now ! Even though he is picking up 15% of the transfer fee, greedy little sh..e !

We've got to get this fullback thing sorted otherwise we will be starting with the old Gardner / Colback combo !

So who reckons that Bardo is on his way out? I have a feeling that he will stay. I think we should just give Colback the number 3 shirt and stop mucking about - he can do a good job there.

Bardo is gone. Hes said so himself, and even if he does stay he will be nowhere near the first team

You can't give Colback the number 3 shirt because he is not a left back just like you can't give Gardner the number 2 shirt because he is not a right fullback. We have to move on and bring in real fullbacks.

There's plenty of time. Thing to remember, they're hard positions for any club to fill. There seems to be a world shortage of good fullbacks.

Thank god I'm not alone with this. Both Gardner and Colback filled in admirably in positions they are not used to but neither of them are actually good full backs IMO.

We need 4 full backs fighting for 2 places to stop this having to fill in every game.

This, without a doubt. Now we've lost the Mig, we need proper defenders so that we don't have to rely on "miracle saves". This has to be one of our top priorities

I too have been saying this since the end of the the season. I don't care how well Colback and Gardener did, I don't want midfielders playing fullback. I'd sell gardener and I'd play Colback as a midfielder.

Re read mate, I said shortage of good. I'm not taking the unattainable into consideration here as that would be pointless.

There isn't one attainable full back in the premiership I'd want apart from danny rose

i think to limit it to rose is a bit silly, who said hes available, not from where i sit hes not , unless you know other wise.

so all the others are no good then
