Once again another red card tonight, what is going on with us at the moment do we enjoy playing with 10 men or something? Thanks to turnbull aswell Lukaku came off for Cech and Josh made way for mikel most likely to try and hold the ball up and keep the lead, once again we've gave a penalty away as well, where would be without cech lol. I really think AVB needs to sort our discipline out quick, i know it was only turnbull and he was coming to challenge the player but i'm looking at the bigger picture which is we've had 5 red cards already this season or is it 6? Turnbull, Alex, Bosingwa, Drogba,Torres and not sure if there was another one. At the rate were going it will come to a game where were only have 3 players available lol
Disgrace, Josh just can't seem to get any luck at the moment. Our discipline is annoying me and now we've conceeded. ****ing Everton
AVB plays high pressing football with a high back line, this means your defence is becoming voulnerable to anything played over the top. The likes of Terry and Ivanovic are slow, that's why he plays Luiz, but although he's quick he can't defend, so your having to make rash challenges to prevent goal scoring opportunities like Bosingwa on Sunday. Ancellotti played a different way which didn't leave your defence exposed to pace. If AVB wants to continue the way you are playing, then he needs to get faster centre halfs, that can actually defend aswell
Maybe we should have gave you the job then sherg seeing as you have it all mapped out ! Saying that though they probably checked your c.v and thought this guy can't even pick a winning horse let en knone manage a football team!
You never know coops, with the amount of times you guys change your manager, RA might give me a call next

I know mate he was outstanding tonight as i said on the other thread but i just meant it as tongue in cheek like it's always a young player being sacrificed like last time vs fulham when josh got sacrificed
Talked about how well AVB's tactics have been after going down a man (or two), mentioned how Fellaini and Rodwell had their pants pulled down by Josh (who won Anelka's penalty) and also said Oriol made another outstanding performance in the holding role and thinks he'll be a superstar one day - along with Bertrand too. Thing I was mainly on about was that he spoke about our defence after a couple of phone calls, he mentioned that Ivanovic is just as capable of getting forward as Bosingwa is, just without the pace, after saying the best cross made this season was in fact BY Ivan on Sunday to meet Anelka's head PLUS he adds the defensive side of the game a lot better than Bosingwa does. He said Ivan has GOT TO play week in week out to help us keep clean sheets, dubbing him as the Serbian John Terry! Basically Ivan should be playing this Saturday so we can give Arsenal a bit of a beating - which they really hate. They concluded by saying our 'strongest' back four (and the one that should start this Saturday) is: Ivan, Terry, Alex, Cole. Going to stay up and catch the repeat at 12. I'll let everyone know what happened if you didn't see it
A quote from the great Danny Sturridge - "Coming to Chelsea, I couldn't turn it down. For me it's the biggest club in the Premier League and still is now and I don't think I'll EVER regret it, and people always ask me that and tell me Man City are moving so far BUT they're not where Chelsea are now and I'm going to try MY best to make sure they don't get there" Legend. (already)
I'd like to see the Ivan-Terry-Alex-Cole back line on Saturday as well. I think being more defensive-minded would be a good call. Especially since it's not a huge trade-off overall on the attack. Also sounds like it was an interesting game, I'll have to go find a recap or three somewhere.
I think you'd have to be wearing some very blue-tinted spectacles to not take that with a slight pinch of salt.
It's more or less a metaphor for how much Chelsea means to him, which is all I need to hear. Now stop lingering on our board, you stink
Yeah, he certainly gave Neville what for today (I'm only 16 mins in but ahh well ). Nico's penalty was dreadful
