How can we be so devoid of ability, both technically and mentally? How can a country go from producing World Class Catholic players by the barrel load, to producing a ****load of mundane, slow minded, elephant first touch-ed, **** players who give a bad name to mediocrity? I blame the hatred and discrimination against Catholics and in particular, members of the Celtic Family, that still exists to this very day. Its no secret that a national conspiracy against Catholics has been afoot for over 300 years. I came across a low level game, during my spanish escapades, involving what must have been two under 13 teams, and I was shocked to the core. The quality and standard of play was of a higher level than the spl. These young spaniards have been taught to pass, pass, pass, and pass from a young age. The Scottish Youth system seems to favour big players who can run slowly all day, over players with natural ability. Until there is true change in the way the youth system is run, we have no hope of ever competing with the best in Europe, never mind the world.
Original poster was right. Look after the Catholics, you get the support of the Masses, although it might incense some supporters.
TBH I think someone like moyes would be excellent for england SAF definately but want him to stay at UTD so that rules him out. even mccliesh would do a good job for england unfortunately 'foreign' means italian when hiring and includes scottish when the italian has ****ed up, so now want 'english' God help england if 'arry takes charge
