we loose our next 3 games? Will all of you who blindly back Bruce even now agree he would have to go? Be honest!
1) I do not blindly back bruce, just cos I dont agree with kicking him out now 2) if he lost the 3 next games, then i think even he will start asking questions about his ability to get the best out of the players he bought this summer, never mind us BiBs. 3) are you so pessimistic that you think we will lose against norwich, west brom and stoke? 4 or 5 points from next 3 games would just about keep his head above water, less than 4 and he is in trouble (from a BiB point of view). However, even if i start to agree that he needs replacing the timing of the sacking would still be up to debate (now, before the jan window or other)
I am a Bruce man but i can't defend him forever, 3 defeats and i think he would have to go as he would have lost the fans and if we lose 3 games it would seem he must have lost the players also. I do however think people are over reacting We drew at Liverpool (good point away) The defeat at home to Newcastle after failing to score was hard (we all know derby games can go either way) and this was the last game we would have wanted for our first home game. A point at Swansea to me is not to bad the worrying thing now is we did not score again getting beat at home to Chelsea would not be to bad but i think it was the way we got beat that hurt, however we did score and it was Bendtners first game. I am hoping things pick up and will not want Bruce out but if we lose all the next 3 im afraid i may have to change my mind. I also think we have a problem with the SOL as if after only 20 mins things a re not going to well the crowd get disgruntled which travels down to the pitch Come on Brucie mate give us something to cheer.
Lose to Stoke and its very likely we will lose to Norwich and then we'll be at rock bottom for west brom. Alternatively if we beat Stoke we should really be going to Carrow Road looking to win the game. Norwich are plucky but West Brom showed at the weekend that Norwich lack quality where it matters.
Ask me again after those three games, if we lose all three then it will be hard for him to stay. But even 6 points that are got by playing badly and i still think people will be on his case. We need to get points and start to play well and dare i say it get a few goals on the way! So to be honest i'd want him out if we lose the three games!
As a splintered arse wooden fence sitter of Bruce - I think I know where I'll be if we lose our next 3...
Sure, sacking a manager at this stage is not ideal but if it happened now i could honestly say i would not care at all as long as we got someone in who knew how to play players in the right position, know who to bring on for a substitution and when to do it, be able to motivate a team.............................the list is endless man! I think 7 points is the minimum we need from these 3 fixtures! I expect 1 from Stoke if not defeat, 3 from Norwich and 3 from WBA, its time to stand up and do the business like cos if we dont then were ****ed IMO.
Lets see what the state of play is after the next 3 games. I think even if we win the next 3 games that wont be enough for some people.
If we won the next three then this would give Bruce more time to prove his doubters wrong but their oppinion of him would not change! Too many people are judging him on this season alone which is wrong, im judging him on all of his time here! People talk of progression, 16th, 13th then 10th but we were lucky as **** to finish 10th and you all know it, this is not a true reflection of Bruces abilities! I like Bruce as a person, i just think hes a **** manager ande could not motivate a 15 year old in a brothel with a diamond ring on his cock!
I will always back the team, no matter what... but IF we lose the next 3 games, he will be out. Mr Short is a business man, and to get far he knows you have to be brutal. I feel sorry for Bruce, because as above seems like a nice honest person...just a s**t manager.
Absolute bollocks - over the entirw season last season we were the 10th best team in that division - we were not the 10th luckiest we were the 10th best. A 38 game league table does not lie - we got a bit of luck on the last day but a league table never lies at the end of a season
I think Bruce is a decent manager he's build a decent squad off players, obviously were lacking in a few areas which he and the board should have addressed in the summer but for reasons unknown to us they didn't. I do agree we were lucky as **** to finish 10th last season. I don't think we'll improve on the position last year. Lets hope we start to pick points up soon starting with 3 points against Stoke on Sunday.
Its not bollocks mate! For the first half of the season we were prolific and i was well happy at the results coming in and in some ways did not expect it to carry on to the hights it had done but then came the inevetable Bruce after xmas slump (could that be anything to do with the fact that the manager and the players went on ****in holiday because we didnt have a cup game due to being knocked out at an early stage by **** opposition which meant we didnt have a game for two weeks)! We were ****in dog cock for the second half of the season and were luck to scrape 10th, your right the season is 38 games long! Well maybe 40 if you add the two cup games we have once a year (league/FA)
and the **** load of injuries we had count as **** all then? and bent doing a ****ing runner cant explain some of it? Bruce isnt the best manager in the world, but he cant take 100% of the blame for last seasons slump. ****, 50% of the blame is a lot considering the injuries we had. Ask everton fans what happens when you have an injury list as long as Rocco's cock and for the the same duration of a 15 year old's erection taking 2 packs of viagra a day for 1 month.
How is it not bollocks?? A league table does not lie. The best team wins the league and the worst team gets relegated - we were the 10th best team period - the league table states this. Our first half of the season set us up for that and our away form at the end of the season cemented the 10th spot. OK so West Brom's last mnute equaliser helped us out which was a little lucky but the league table never lies. You cannot be lucky to end the season in a position - the league table shows that - OK so luck has a little bit to do with it but with better luck regarding injuries etc. we would have finished even higher - so you could say we were unlucky to finish 10th - INWT - the league table, after 38 games, does not lie
I think we can all agree Bruce isn't going to be sacked this week! All the arguing ain't going to change that and it wont turn a BIB into a BOB or vice-versa. Personally I believe Bruce will turn it around but should we lose the next three, bums will defiantly start to twitch. Then again we may win the next 34 and be Champions. It's all just hypothetical at this point in time.
Its not just about the injuries though mate (part of which many sunderland fans would agree its Bruces fault for rushing certain inderviduals back to soon) its about a lot of things that he has and is still doing wrong! I admit that there are things that are out of his control but there is so much more that he is in control of that hes getting woefully wrong!
to some up my last post, without the cock comparison, i think we were unlucky not to finish higher than 10th, i.e. if we had more luck with injuries, and bent not done a runner, then we would have finished 8th imo.
Mate, to some extent ill agree the league doesnt lie and i use this term quite a lot but im afraid it simply does not apply to our final position last season! In this case the league did lie! Do you think i want to be admiting that we ended in a faulse position last season?? Seriously?? Im just telling it how it is and we were lucky as **** pal and you know it!
what like? playing players out of position? Any "mistakes" like that he is making now, he was also doing in the 1st half of last season as well - where we were flying. the question is, why are those "mistakes" being blamed now (due to current form) when they didnt matter (or have any impact) when we were in the top 8 or 7 in the first half of last season? see my post above this one, luck argument can work both ways
