Than he won't be our player. :p

Don't really understand your question marra. If we don't sign him this window he could still end up anywhere this window too.

I think it would be for the best if just got him ****ing well signed. :p

Someone twitter claimed he was in a Durham hotel the other night, posted a picture, it wasn't good enough to tell if it's him or not. :(

Got me stressed out Bri, should be done by now. He is 26 and in his prime. Next level lad. Why offer £7 million for the Seville lad (or Mason)instead of bunging the Russians £4 Million and sorting it. I can't understand why we drag our heels. Unless DM don't fancy him.

I'm still holding out hope that if it gets to the last couple of days we can offer him a contract to get him out of Russia and with a clause saying that if we don't go straight back up he can leave for a reduced fee. It's almost certainly never going to happen but we can afford him and I can't imagine he actually wants to be sat unhappily in Russia. Relies on you guys continuing your inexplicable dealings with him so far this summer. Amazed no-one else has come in for him either - just seems like such a no brainer.

It was some rugby guy - the team were staying at The Ramside and they were all in having dinner he was at the back. He mocked up a photo with DM and the shirt saying he was looking forward to playing at the SoL

Could be all part of modern day way of doing business. He could have already signed a pre-contract agreement with us but he is the one hanging Ruben out to dry so he picks up the five million and not them.

On the other hand he may just want to see his contract out and we have no say in the matter.

I was in the Ramside yesterday afternoon, up for a funeral. I didn't see any of our players, or any one SAFC , yesterday.

But I was only there from 12 till 2pm.

Was on the radio (cricket commentary) that it was Varun Chopra who is an opening batsman for Warwickshire - Durham have been playing them in a 4 day game.

If we sign Iborra, and Kirchhoff is fully fit. I struggle to see where M'Vila will fit into the team.

    GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

We'll be very very lucky if Kirchhoff plays 20 a season though mate. Rodwell, Catts and Pienaar are less prone but prone all the same. Strength and depth needed.

I'd like him in asap but musan and iborra would make him less of a priority.

If we got all three in I'd be ok with seb and either Roswell or cattermole heading out the door at some point over the next 12 months.

    I didn't say don't sign him! Ha.

He'll be ideal when Kirchhoff is out, but if we get Iborra then he will be less of a priority, imo. Pienaar has already shown a bit class, I thought his passing range and vision against Shrewsbury, was the best on the pitch by a country mile. I'd put him before McNair, Rodwell etc.

The fact that Moyes is bidding for Iborra tells me that M'Vila deal is a no go mate, we can't afford both.

Moyes has said recently that we're still working on the M'Vila transfer. I think it's been made difficult by the fact that the £ we agreed to pay - and the wages we agreed with him - have changed radically after Brexit. The £ stood at 1.467 against the $ on June 20th but it's 1.31 now That's a hefty drop when multiplied by five million! Rubin Kazan aren't going to take a large hit because Brexit was a British decision, not theirs. So we'll have the whole agreement to work through again. It's nobody's fault as such, but it will take time to sort. No panic..
