What if.........

What if Man Utd had been knocked out of the Champions League and not be allowed to play in the Europe League but had argued that they should be in the Europa League. I bet the ABU's would be calling Man Utd arrogant for saying they should still be in Europe.

Sums up their hypocrisy.

Man Utd players and fans have not be complaining that they should still be in the Champions League, they have been complaining that they shouldn't be in the Europa League. Unfortunately many ABU's are too stupid to realise this and will look for any excuse to have a pop at Man Utd.

The Europa League should be for teams who finished just outside the Champions League Qualifying positions in their respective leagues and for teams who are from Countries with low co-efficients. It should not be for teams who failed in the Champions League.

Do people think that had the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid been knocked out of the Champions League and into the Europa League they wouldn't be embarrassed about it? What are Man Utd meant to say, that they aren't embarrassed to have finshed 3rd in a group they were favourites to win?

it is not embarrassing to be in the europa, it was more embarrassing that Basel got 5 goals against you, 3 of which were at OT.

This has fk all to do with the europa and everything to do with the bitterness of you and Evra. Sure Evra was muck and helped in his team's downfall so he should have kept his mouth shut.
