If Newcastle sacked Bruce in January, which won't happen of course, how would people feel about Hughton being linked to the job? Would people want him back? How well do you think we would do with him? As far as I can remember, Hughton has never been relegated, was immensely popular while here, can build on team spirit, and often gets the best out of teams. How would you feel about the appointment?
I wouldn't be too upset at the prospect. All depends on what kinda Christmas we have and where we are. I couldn't see it happening in all reality but you just never know with our football club. I see Emery's just been sacked, they'd better keep there hands off Wor Stevie !!
Loved Houghton. When I look back at his job for us I'd argue it was the hardest I've seen as a fan (98 onwards) and he did it whilst creating a proper team ethic where everyone fought for the cause. I sometimes look at the state of the team we went down with and wonder how he made one that got us straight back up. Admittedly, the champ was ****ter back then, but he proved his point having us mid-table safe in the Prem before his sacking. Would have him back, MA would have him back (said he regretted sacking him), but would he come back?
Without a shred of bias, in a heartbeat. It may take Ashley calling him personally and saying some "alright mates " But we would be by far the biggest job to come and offer him a position. He has personal ties here and we recognise his abilities unlike larger sides. I wish it would have happened beginning of the season.

No problem with Hughton but happy enough with Bruce. Mainly because I don't want Chaos to change his user name again. Although to be fair he is one of the few posters on here who is instantly recognisable by the ****e he posts so its not really an issue.
