It was about 10.30hrs today, I was walking along the front of Priestfield Stadium, when I had a senior moment and entered a door marked Shop/Ticket office.

When I came out, I left with a little green book, marked Gillingham FC, season 2011/12.

However on checking my pockets, I found I was £349 lighter! :emoticon-0107-sweat

No that's the highest price you would pay - it all depends on where you sit in the ground, also adult, senior, child etc.
I'm not sure if that still came under the discounted price as well Hoadie <ok>

I worked it out and what with the further increase in gate prices this season, it was cheaper to buy one, even if I did not make all the games. <ok>

Not sure what my finances would be like over the coming months, so at least I haven't got to worry about it now.

Yeah better to get it out the way, I can't as I have to work many Saturdays but I will make sure I get to more games next season than last, sounds bad that I live 5 Minutes walk from the stadium and that I only went to 8 games last season, but when you have work you have work.

If I were you, I would sit down and take deep breath. It has happened to hundreds of people over the years in Gillingham. It's called getting mugged!! Have you notified the police and do you need councelling? You may be lucky and involve the credit card company for a refund. If you haven't been mugged, you have simply had a brain fart!!

Funnily enough, I nearly called this thread getting mugged, however, I didn't fancy the idea of a certain someone cancelling my ticket and me losing £349, because I would then have been mugged twice, instead I've accepted your turn of phrase a brain fart :emoticon-0127-lipss

Funniest bit of all though, is when the other half found out...she thought I'd bought 2 season tickets for that price (one for my son)!!!!!!!!! :emoticon-0140-rofl:

£349... so £47 more expensive than a Rainham End seat for the entire 2000-01 season (our first season in the Championship).

£349 for a season watching high class, flowing, entertaining football is very good value.

As it's Gillingham "you were mugged":emoticon-0116-evilg

I renewed mine for the Valley a few months ago (only League 1 football) but it was £240 and I gather the over 60 price is still only £180 brb <ok>
