A shadow of the player that left Millwall in January. Does he need some Kenny Jackett refresher training?
Are you suggesting Wood has been recieving special attention from Mr P that has left him misty eyed and drained(in a Catholic church kind of way)
... his loss of form is worrying ... particularly as rumours of a 'bust-up' were right at the start of this poor run rather than in 'hindsight' now ...
As I said when Kane was brought in, it was a act of desperation from Pearson. his total lack of imagination and ability to rectify the teams problems are papered over by signing somebody to get an instant cure.. then after a couple of games, normal service resumes. the undeniable truth is the manager we have, is found wanting at this level when the chips are down... top gaffers just don't have this kind of run at the business end of a season..
True, plus, as I posted in response to Gangsta last night, Brighton, as I fully expected, are mullering Palace 3-0 at the moment. I suspect that you may have a new manager by the end on the international break/
One thing we know about NP is that he bears grudges. If he has fallen out with Wood then he will want him out of the 1st team picture
He will get his way.NP is soon to be out of the 1st team picture. Just a pity he will get paid so much for doing nowt but snarl at those weaker than him.
I'll warn you now that FoxesTalk has more than its fair share of loons. Most of which are on there now leaving their suicide notes after our current run. The same fans think we'll get into the Champions league next season after we win a game. But, there is the same view shared by all. Chris Wood is a very good player, but Pearson is playing a 4-3-3 that doesn't suit us offensively. Wood and Nugent have looked lost recently. Wood does have the touch of a donkey though, as one poster rightly pointed out. He is also **** in the air. Aside from that I have no qualms with the lad and I think he'll soon be back on the goal trail. Quality goal in your sig BTW. Was that from this weekend?
Yes - thought the keeper should have done better, but take nothing away from the quality of the strike
If you don't buy a ticket and all that... If we'd got a freekick in a similar position we'd have dinked it into the area only to see it booted clear.
We have looked decent in recent weeks from corners. Harry Kane, Andy King, Michael Keane (3 times) have all scored from corners
