What happens to Osvaldo now?

I'm making a quick poll mainly due to being bored.

What do we do with him?...

 

I've voted for the third time in 24hrs. More 3rd time in 24hrs, I say.

You do realise mine will be the sole vote for quite a while.

 

Very tempting to let him rot in the reserves for a year, but it wouldn't be good money-wise.

 

Also I imagine he would be a disruptive twat.

 

Osvaldo is a valuable asset (in money terms), so will be sold (even at a loss). I cannot see the ever reasonable but inexperienced in football Kreuger talking him down and bringing him back into the fold. I cannot see Dani wanting to come back unless he had no choice...there will be some choices...worse people than him have been given chances at new clubs.

 

Unfortunatley for all his talent he is disruptive...
Cash in for what we can get and buy a player with a better attitude and will fit in...

 

The pampered twat needs a reality check, loan him out to Portsmouth for 6 months.

 

I wanted to vote for early retirement, but unfortunaltely no such option was provided in the poll.

 

I say give him a chance, but only if the rest of the squad are happy to do so. I know he can be disruptive and maybe not worth the risk but with the injury to Jrod and Lambert not having the energy to terrorise defenders we need some one who is an expert at being annoying. Get him back to St Marys in the next month to start an intensive pre season then play him in all the games during pre season and the start of the season if he ****'s up we have till september 1st to get rid.

 

Cortese might pull that off, but not Kreuger.

 

Behind the scenes I imagine there would be some discussion. If Dani said he wanted to stay, I'd consult the players and see what they think about that. If they were all okay to give him another chance then I'd give him one. Doubt that'll happen though.

 

Get rid, even if we lose money on the deal. Pochettino hasn't made that many mistakes since he's been with us, but trying to fit Dani into the Southampton Way was by far the biggest.

Fonte's going to Hull, Lallana to Liverpool, Shaw to Salford, Morgan to Arsenal, Chambers to Arsenal, Lovren to Liverpool, Wanyama to Inter, JayRod to Spuds with MP..... there'll be nobody left who will have a problem. No problem.

 

Give him a go. any more ****ups, and he's out, but when he's got his **** together, he's a quality player.

 

Depends entirely on his attitude. Fonte said if he was contrite then he would have no problem working with him again.

Personally I don't see him staying though. We'll take a massive hit, and let him go.

 

loan him out to Bournemouth for a season (that would go along way to getting them promoted again),pay his stupid wages, in return we get 25% back of Adam.

 

He'll be OK when he comes back because the other players he knew would have all been sold (just ask the media) and he will have to go all the way to Hull if he wants to punch Fonte again.

I'd go with that, man I hope there is a Puncheon-like redemption. I don't know though. If someone in Italy/Spain wants him it will seem quite silly for us to hold on.
