I'll treat the thread as a mis communication of humour!

We started very solid but as most fans will tell you we rode our luck in the early part of the season - league wise! That probably put us in a false position and along with our extended EUROPEAN RUN we suffered! The turning point league wise was probably the Newcastle game where there was only 3 points in it - and look at the difference now!

Not that we have to explain ourselves, but I think TP has struggled to understand his best XI and play them in a formation that works in the leage, Europe and Cup wise I dont think we got a lot wrong! So, as Ricc has said we will see you next year, although probably only due to the bottom 5 being so far adrift!

What a stupid thing to say, the only thing wrong with Stoke is their home kits.

But Sunderland play in white and Red can't you see the difference?
Just to add, we've done this to death before mate.

Personally I hate our away strip, maybe that's why our away form is woeful.

P.S. can we use our HOME strip in a few weeks at your'e place?

I think it's your choice because our respective strips our distinguishable on the pitch. I hope you wear your home kit if we win it though, it's nice to imagine your someone else when we're beating you <laugh>

Honestly not expecting too much from our trip to the North East in a few weeks but..
I HOPE we at least put in a better performance than we did at home this season. Must be one of our worst games at home this season.

Although, Demba Ba destroyed us end of! Your'e having a great season and I will be there for the game as I have family living in Cramlington
and Long Benton. Hope we get something from the game but other than that game, I wish you all the best afterwards.

Just wondering IF Chelsea fail in the UEFA cup does this damage Newcastles chances eg the Europa League or even a top six spot?
Which, if you finish above them makes no difference does it.. I Hope they beat Barcca but just can't see it happening.

They're mathematical chances of us finishing 4th but also mathematical chances of us finishing 15th so that is still a crazy target to aim for. If Everton beat Liverpool in the cup then we have to show serious form and beat Chelsea in order to get a European place so it's a kind of wait and see thing.

<ok> sort of confuses things win your'e games and you make it IMO.

So using that logic even we (Stoke) have a chance of finishing top 7/8 easy peessy.
Could even be as low as 17th so all to play for.

I'll settle for us to finish top ten nothing less for me that would be going backwards.

How long before at least one Stoke fan say's let's be realistic.

The ONLY two games we can effect the top 4 too 6 is yoursleves away and Arsenal at home.
And it's gonna be one hell of a game that one. Mr Wenger doesn't like us and the feeling is mutual.

Do you care if Wenger doesn't like your team, I don't think he likes many teams tbh.

Potters should defo finish top 10.

Rugby team? haha that's actually pretty good. But some teams are a pain in the arse to deal with, get round it. That's all there is to it.

When we play Stoke we usually dominate possession, out play them, but lose to a cheap couple of set players or something.

I remember our last game against Stoke at SJP.

We played well in possession, but couldn't deal with their set plays. I hope we have a happier game vs them in a few weeks.

Colo should be back for that game.

And that Potts is the only time that song is appropriate, any other time/team is just an embarrassment! Hope we get to sing it to him on his next visit!

    Smither's
Right enough, I don't usually join in tbh it's become boring at times.. especially when Crouch scored that GOTS candidate...

But I will give Wenger my best shot and some.. can't wait for that game Smither's by which time we should be well safe, I did say SHOULD BE!
