Just got in from a meal at the local golf course. They had it on a screen the other side of the room and whenever I looked up it was either in the back of our net or we were up in their end fluffing chances. I saw the goals and the two we conceded will infuriate Nigel. Quality goal from Konch, we just need to get our strikers scoring. Nugent hasn't looked right for way too long now. Ah well, if we played well then i'll be happy, result come to those who play well. Results don't matter right now, we've played well against everyone so far, we just need that bit of luck which will come.
We lost away from home against wolves, no shame there. Sounds like we are missing someone like Danns though.
We played well for 45 minutes - which has happened too often over the past 18 months. Wolves deserved a 2 goal lead in the first half. We played catch up second half. We need to start believing that we can win away. On the positive, Knockaert looked excellent when he came on.
Unless Dyer has pictures of np doing something he shouldn't be then knockaert should be starting weds night
Can some of the more reasonable posters (Horsham, you can be reasonable when you're not trying to be a twat) come out and play. Rosenoirhisgranisfromdull and Charlie are demented and it's impossible to have a decent conversation with them. Fact is, we gave one of the best sides in the league a right good hammering in the second half. Two **** goals cost us but that's easily cut out. A nice midweek win and we'll be fine.
I look forward to our game soon, we've been on decent form so far and you look like you've got something to prove, I really don't see the game against Leeds being anything special, hopefully the one against you will be exciting and a goal fest (hopefully us mostly)
Well home form in the league has been good. Don't forget that Blackpool came here and we won that easily and should have (surprise, surprise) scored more.
Alot of our players are playing well, usually teams like Hull and Leicester are teams that miss out on promotion and only have a couple of players that stand out, i.e. Chester and Marshall, but this season so far everyone that has played has played decent, we've got defenders creating goals for other defenders! Last season we only had Koren and Fryatt scoring goals, now we have Aluko, Simpson, Koren, Faye and Quinn all chipping in with many more coming close to scoring, I havn't paid much attention to Leicester's start so far but I expect a good game against the Foxes.
Likewise, I only knew you'd won because of the usual mongs who swamp the place. I expect us to beat you next week though, if we're serious of promotion we should be beating you at home.
