It's a question Mick Lowes just asked on the radio... Something turned after that game and all our early progress seemed to fall off the rails.
I was genuinely encouraged by how we had been playing up until that point. All I can think of is that panic set in because the results didn't come with the performances and we have a gutless core at the club who rather than fight when their backs are against the wall simply give up.
Personally I think the way we were playing up until the Stoke game was a world away from how we are playing now. We still had massive issues but there were signs that some of the new players were at least offering more than we did last season. Now they have been dragged down to the same **** levels of the rest.
