My gears are literally grinding. The clutch master cylinder has gone in my diesel estate, the pedal was flat on the floor. Had to be towed away, leaving me and my daughter standing outside in the pissing-down rain, after I'd promised to pick her up from training. RIP the car probably, as more expensive to repair than sell as it is. Bad timing.
I have a Nio et5 touring work car and also have (had) a 10 year old diesel estate for hiking trips/pulling a trailer/moving tools etc.
This happened on an XC70 I had, last winter. A right bugger to fix. Volvo don't design their cars to be de-assembled. I drove it for ages though before I took it in. Just used to pull the pedal back up with my foot when it got stuck down.
I wouldn't be throwing away a 10 year old car because you've lost the clutch. More often the slave cylinder goes rather than the master cylinder. A fairly easy and cheap fix either way. If by some chance its the actual clutch it will be a bigger job and more money but certainly no reason to in the whole car.
I tried doing that, but a warning system had been set off, so the automatic starter didn't work... Downside of computerised integrated systems. Annoyingly spent a fortune on it before summer to get it through the EU control, but probably throwing good money after bad now. The council sprays salted water on the roads during winter to wash away ice and snow and it eats up cars after 7 years... Electronics, components, body work all gets destroyed. Only way to reduce it is to wash under the car every couple of days (or not drive in winter).
Unfortunately schools encourage parents to sent their children to school when they have a cough or a cold
People on here quoting and talking about XG's (in whatever f'king format) as if it actually matters even one jot.
We're past that now, it's my computer program algorithm thing is better than your computer algorithm program thing. EDIT. It's still all complete bollocks.
Bloody political or political commentator using phrase or paraphrasing ‘ I’ve got your back ‘ Sod off !
They're flawed for sure, but they give you a rough idea of what the problems are. Ours is that we're statistically squandering more chances than we should be.
Well blow me down with a feather! Thank goodness we have XG to tell us that!! p.s. correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't say anything whatsoever about the crosses being put in? We've had some corkers that really should have been capitalised on, and we've also had some woeful ones. That info should be just as important shouldn't it, aX's is it? Maybe for qualified analysts, these stats are of use to help coach players, but this developing obsession of fans over Xg is silly. #bins
I don't know TBH, but I'd be surprised, cos you'll never score from a ball you can't reach. I know our successful cross % has been utter dogshit though
From a coaches point of view it really does matter, as do many other stats that help you form a picture of where problems may lie.
Dunno if it’s been mentioned but the ****ing ground announcer telling 20,000 people in the stadium what the half time score as the players leave the pitch. WE KNOW WHAT THE ****ING SCORE IS!!!
