the ref? bad luck? Barton? all of the above? doesn't matter how you put it unless a miracle happens we're gone. if I was jelavic or Defoe or any other of the million players we've been linked with I wouldn't come anywhere near us unless you want to play championship football next season.
A manager should be judged on results and the verdict so far on Warnock in the Premiership is that he just doesn't appear up to it.
fair point, so does Fernandez and bhatia stick with him and we get relegated or sack him and bring someone in before warnock starts signing players? I can't see that happening can you?
2 pts out of the last 24 and our last clean sheet was against Chelsea in October. remind me of the positives again???
I was furious myself today BUT it is still only 3 teams that we need to be below. We played quite well after the break and deserved a point AND we will get these lost points back later that season. It will be a tight season but everyone new that I guess. The good results at the start of the PL season blinded us... B.
This is the first bad run we have gone on since Neil took over, and half these games have been against the best in the UK. Amazes me that so many have so little faith. I think we have in fact played very well the last 3 games and been genuinly unlucky. I don't think we'll find a btter manager than Neil - we should stick with him this season, and judge him on it then. He has said himself if he gets the players he needs and we still don't stay up, he'll know he will be out. So far he's on course, just about, and he didn't get all he needed in the few days he could last window. Think we should be getting behind him, giving him support, and not having a go the first time the results have not been good.
NW probably will keep us up with new players but he can't play that card every time we're in trouble. He's shown a lack of ability at this level and if we don't tolerate players underperforming, why should we tolerate managers in the same position? He signed half a team of decent players in Aug/Sep. Plenty of other managers, past and present, have done better with less resources.
