We have played our best football WITH him and Granero as they seem to compliment each other. It seems most obvious to many, to start with the 3 of Faurlin granero and diakite in a simple triangle with hoillet and Taarabt out wide! I personally don't want to see Adel working back all the time as we should play to our strengths and he is our most creative player! Having that trio in the middle gives plenty of cover and work rate to accommodate such a formation. The option of Park in there is also another option. I would also like to see Mackie given the chance to play the strike role. Finally, why oh why is Hughes more focused on other teams strengths and neutralising them instead of letting the opposition think about us. Our tactics always invite attack which inevitably result in goals. We defend too deep and Hughes main tactic seems to be that of frustrating the opposition. Well Mr Hughes, i have never rated you and it seems the only frustration is coming from us fans who clearly see what you can't!!
Absolutely spot on Bob. Hughes is obviously tactically inept and Tony needs to realise it before it's too late. I've just started a thread asking if Faurlin will leave in January. He's obviously not appreciated by the fool Hughes!
A very accurate assessment bob. It is frustrating isn't it. We showed more in the last 5 mins when we had to chase the game than the whole previous 85.
Yes he has done wrong. He wasn't born Asian (no racist comment) but he was an Asian I'm sure he would play a lot more.
