Everyone's finally opening their eyes to the disaster that is Gervinho. Bit late. But they're finally there.

I was one of the few guys who was puzzled by bitter gooners hailing him as an improvement on Nasri. I just didn't understand what this tragic character offered our team.

I finally have the answer. Frustration.

Not only does this guy annoy the hell out of us, but he also irritates his team mates. Twas a bit funny seeing Podolski, Cazorla, etc, throw their hands in the air when he stumbled the ball outta play.
    It's just pathetic now.

Now that we've ruled out Gervinho's career as an aspiring footballer, let's have a look at our friend Ramsey.

    Wtf does this guy do?

Not only does he dwell on the ball, but he has little vision, and poor technique. Due to his poor awareness, he gets caught on the ball constantly, in dangerous positions.

Honestly, apart from a good engine, I don't see any redeeming qualities from him.

So why does he get away with such murder when we put Gervinho in a chokehold?

If Ramsey was from Italy, and his first name was Diego, he'd have people on his case.

Just a shame he's Wenger's new love child. We had it with Denilson. But at least he had some talent. Ramsey can't even shoot.

Things are looking dreary at Arsenal.

'Incoherent'? Is written in English. Very simply structured.

What has his passport to do with anything? It's addressed in the article.

Regardless of how it's written, it still makes no sense.

    Are you serious?

Read it again. Very slowly. If you continue struggling with it. I can send you the Braille version. No stress.

Ah did the metaphor get off balance?

    I'll make things easier then.

Why does everyone hate Gervinho, but they loves Ramseys even thoug he is rubbish as hem?

Not everybody hates Gervinho - and Ramsey comes in for plenty of criticism.

Your whole premise is flawed <ok>

    Wow. Love the pedantry there.

Tbh that was clearly a jest there.

I'll make it even easier for you.

Gervinho gets a lot flack, and rightly so, as he is cack. On the other hand, Ramsey plays football like druggie, two steps behind his team mates, awful most of the time, yet you don't hear a peep from the media and most fans.
Was wondering whether he'd get such a free pass if he wasn't British.

We can't speak or account for what the media and other Arsenal fans think about Ramsey. On here, only a handful of people still think he can make it at Arsenal.

    Fair enough.

On other forums, there's still a large amount of Ramsey backers.

Still think it's double standards when these same people rip into the likes of Santos, etc, when Ramsey is just as bad.

Wasn't Ramsey better than Wilshere or at least looking the better prospect with even more potential before his injury?

Ramsey got a 'shot' a season earlier than Wilshere, so we can't really compare. Both became influential fairly quickly, but Wilshere moreso, as we had Fabregas who was at his peak when Ramsey was starting to show promise.

I've been pretty consistent in my criticism of both players. When attempting to build a slick, attacking, passing game you simply can't have players who give up possession so cheaply. These deficiencies were on display in the Bradford game. It only takes one weak link and the entire move breaks down. I'd shift both of them at the next available opportunity and replace them with technically gifted, established players if it was up to me.
