He presided over our change of fortune and then McCarthy kept goal and our results became decidedly average. Back in comes Lee-Barrett and he keeps yet another clean sheet.

I think there has got to be a case for him being our number one next season. It's hard to get a quality keeper to come and sign to play in the Championship, we haven't had one since Alexander went to Rangers. I don't want to see anymore loans and I think Lee-Barrett has proven that he's good enough to keep goal for us next season. That would be so much more preferable than chopping and changing.

    Thoughts?

He simply isn't good enough Yorkie! <ok>

For every decent save he makes, he is also liable to make an absolute howler!

Take yesterday for example. He allowed a tame shot to go underneath his body and it was heading towards the goal line before he realised just in the nick of time! A good back up but definately should not be our number 1 goal keeper next season.

Whilst I feel he has been a little bit unfortunate this season, he's not good enough to be our number 1 next season!!

Just think we have to be realistic about the type of keeper we can attract. If we can permanently sign a great keeper then marvellous but I think we'll end up resorting to more loans and Lee-Barrett is a far better option than that.

Wright is the better Keeper but as he is on a pay as you play deal its cheaper to go with the poorer keeper.

I do remember there was this one game when Barrett shipped 5, but I can't remember who it was against...?

For me, Lee Barrett is not good enough for this level, far too many mistakes which have lead to goals in the past, and he can not be said to command his area in any way. Another mad moment yesterday, with the one that went through his hands, and nearly trickled over the line.
